Yes please,

I would love to hear this.

What about all the men involved Unity99, are they slaves and being abused and we need to gather to save them from such a horrific abused life?

Why do you place women above men?

Are they not equal?

These views of yours have shocked me, as I have read, enjoyed and agreed/disagreed with much of what you've posted over the years and viewed you as a person with an enlightening ideology.
I am just shocked with so much hatred and generalization your expressing in this thread, whether its because personal experience or not, if so I think its blinding you to the main issue this brings up, which is freedom of choice,
Sorry for you feeling this way, I wish you can rid yourself of a bit of hatred to lighten up your view to see from different perspectives.

Man and women are not Equal. But they should shear Equal rights.

Women are not always being forced by men to tend to porn. Moste of them are being forced to tend to sex/porn because of their lack of Income to support them selves.

To ban porn on the nett will not solve their problems. A ban "a Law" will not solve anything. It never have.

You really should try to refrain from commenting on how everyone here is ill or needs therapy or have jealousy issues for not liking porn. It really just reads the opposite.

Well reading a lot of the posts tells me some people have hatred issues. Not everyone and not once did I say that everyone that doesnt like porn is sick. Its the extreme attitude that SOME take towards the subject that is shocking.

Just so you know, people without porn in their lives can have healthy sex lives, we just don't feel that we need up close graphics of these acts to get in the mood. We also may not place a lot of importance on unique forms of sex. We also may be past that phase in our lives of wild sex and find other aspects of life equally thrilling.

When did I say that everyone must like porn? Feel free to hate it but please dont speak on behalf of all the women like unity99 pretends to. Its dishonest and selfish. Women like men have different tastes. Everyone is different.

I prefer to ignore you in this thread, because you manipulate the words of those not seeing this subject your way, but thought you mind want to know, we are not buying your opinion (well, those that don't appreciate porn, aren't).

I dont manipulate words. I simply dont buy everything everyone says at face value cause I have enough experience in life to know better. You dont like porn, fine then never watch it. You dont like sex, fine then never have sex. You wont be the first or the last. Some men dont care for sex either, but usually these folks dont hate it.

Obviously you are not married! No they are not equal! Women are far superior, just get married and YOU WILL find out. (I'm not kidding)

Here is something I have to bring up, because its ridiculous, and only men tend to not get it overall.

But....someone on another forum posted that this is just the start, that the cable providers can separate websites into piles such as promotion of violence or reactionary stuff, into health issues, or anorexic things, and that this will mean soon we'll be paying to frequent various channels online, in addition to our regular internet fees.

All via, this one thing, ie. an issue that men tend to put into a different category than women. Men see it as a freedom issue, good men may not like this degragation of humanity, and abuse of their mothers, sisters, daughters, but they still think it has to be there.

Women see it as massive crimes against humanity, murder, rape and slavery.

They don't put it into the freedom of speech category.

Whoever lumps this in with the other divisions, needs to be fired. I would go further, have PI's investigate his residence and associations to find out if he is personally involved in enslaving children or abusing women and making any money off of the sex trade industry, or is he just a bad guy. Maybe he needs prison not firing as so many of our politicians do.

The issue of pornography is not the same as other types of information. For its criminal behavior not freedom issues.

So the women that enjoy playing in porn movies, and whom obviously consent to it, are getting abused?

Sex, the most natural thing in the world, is a massive crime against humanity? Good lord!

Rape is when one person FORCES THEMSELVE upon another person. That IS a crime and a big one!

I personally do not like extreme acts, but then again I am not all the men. I only speak on behalf of myself.

Its tragic to feel the way you feel because it cheats you in real life and makes enemies out of people whom are actually not.

Relax. Have fun. Do the things YOU WANT TO DO. Dont listen to anyone else.

No one ever said they couldn't. IF they choose that path for themselves (Lately, freedom of choice is being attacked on a grand scale that I have never seen in my lifetime). I couldn't care less what you do in your own home as long as you extend me the same courtesy. No one should be trying to coerce others into going down the path they think they ought to. Whether it's an outright ban or a law that carries unpleasant consequences for the person choosing the path of more freedom. IT'S THE SAME THING! One form of coercion is explicit and the other is implicit. But it's still there.

And frankly, implicit government coercion is (in my opinion) worse because they get to completely avoid the issue and claim they aren't taking anyone's rights away. Oh really? What if the fact that they need to ask for permission to access adult content (for whatever reason) prevents a person from accessing said content? Doesn't that kind of mean that the law in some way affected their freedom to do this?

Let us suppose (for just a moment) that someone is just plain shy. Let's assume this is a 35 year old single male. (And this is not unlikely because shy males are probably the people most likely to be consuming a lot of porn). Now let's assume that same person lives with and is the caretaker for his 80 year old mother/grandmother/etc. Let us further assume the mother or whomever still essentially runs the household. She pays the bills and makes all the financial decisions.

This person now is put in the awkward position of having to ask his 80 year old mother to inform the government that he wants permission to masturbate.

Such a person is likely to do everything in his power to avoid having to do this. Not because he is doing anything wrong but because it's just a plain AWKWARD, uncomfortable and strange conversation to have with your 80 year old mother. No one wants to talk to their mother, their father or anyone else about masturbation or ask for permission to do it. This is just common sense.

This law WILL effectively serve exactly the same purpose as explicitly censoring adult material for many people. Everyone knows it. That is why those who are in favor of it are so happy about it. Because most of them actually would ban porn (and masturbation too, for that matter) if they could.

we just don't feel that we need up close graphics of these acts to get in the mood.

Whatever. I don't care what you need or don't need. Just don't tell me what I need or don't need and we'll both be content.

That's what this boils down to. The thought police. If they were not trying to control other people (in any way they can) this thread would not even exist.

What does it say about a person when he has to watch people in the world's most intimate act in order to be entertained and, in turn, jerk off to it?

I'd call it a mental illness and evidence of someone seriously lacking in character.

Wow. So a single person, or a person like I was (I made introverts look like the most outgoing person you'd ever meet), has to have a mental illness because we didn't have anyone in our life, and when we did it never lasted long? That's a damn narrow minded world view you have there.

You have to watch other people having sex in order to feel loved?

I sure as hell wasn't using it to feel loved. But when there is no other outlet, it helps with that. Doesn't mean I have a mental illness, or that I'm sick, or want to rape women, or the myriad other things people have said I'm this thread. It simply means i have a healthy sex drive, and no one (at the time) to share it with. It sure as hell didn't have anything to do with feeling loved, and everything to do with being alone.

So you had sex with a two-dimensional image. Do you have any idea how ridiculous that is?

Been married 3 times and I don't want a relationship at the moment..does that make me mentally ill because I like looking at boobies?
Iam looking after my mental health and also my physical health by doing it.
I worked in mental health and we used to give our patients money to buy a Jazz mag, It has been proved it is actually good for people to look at porn, it distresses those who can not or choose not to have a relationship.
Just because it isn't your cup of tea doesn't mean it is bad for everyone else.

I'd call it a mental illness

I wouldn't be surprised. And that's why this is a disturbing development. Because it isn't a mental illness but you are far from the only one who would stoop to calling it a mental illness in order to justify oppressing people.

So. As I noted in my earlier post. The idea that governments might build a database and fill it with the "mentally ill" (And they will choose how to define it) should be a troubling thought for anyone who is the slightest bit familiar with history.

Such things have lead to a lot of really bad things on more than a few occasions and those governments that were responsible were still practically living in the stone age in a technological sense.

People really do need to pause and think about this. The technology a government the size of the British government has available to it today would have been the kind of thing the Nazis could only fantasize about. Governments have NEVER had access to so much power. Ever! Certainly many governments have had even more authority than this but authority and power are not the same thing. You have to ask yourself what they are capable of. The tyrants of the past managed to make one hell of a splash with pretty crude technology. So you think about what you're supporting for a minute.

You worked in MENTAL HEALTH. You say you were enabling? Yes, I see that. Why?

Porn makes the patient passive and, therefore, easier for staff to deal with. Lazy staff.

You speak rather vehemently about rights. Your rights are not going to be infringed. Call your provider and tell them you want porn.

What are you afraid of? The label?
