Birth of a Movement

How can a New World Order exist if we don't even get along with our closest neighbors? This has inspired me to propose the creation of an Entity for the Unification of the American States as a first step to a New World Order. If the Europeans can do it, why not us? I propose:

A. An Organization of Sovereign States;
B. For the Purpose of Establishing a Pan-American Economic Union;
C. Dedicated to the Principles that All Mankind are Created Equal and are Endowed with Inherent Rights to Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness.

There you have it. A New Hemispheric Order.

a lot of people/citizens/consumers/ have trouble with the set-up of today,
the European-Spanish 'over-lords' which 'civilized' the 'new lands' and the
Uncle Sam which rules the roost...and therefore will set the Dialog of any
meetings and have final say as to what entity will be recognized....

The OAS is not an integrative governmental structure. It has done nothing to remove travel restrictions in the Americas. NAFTA is not an integrative governmental structure. It has done nothing to create a common currency. What I am proposing is along the lines of the European Union. The EU has removed internal travel restrictions, created a common currency and market, and replaced the racist philosophy of Hitler with an inclusive philosophy that recognizes genetic, economic, military and political reality. Most Americans know nothing about the EU, it isn't talked about in the States, and I think the EU has acheived a remarkable milestone in human progress that the States of the Americas would do well to emulate. If the OAS would consider this option, good on them. It's amazing the things America does not talk about, like Canada or Mexico or the EU.

Can you be so sure? The idea of France and Germany uniting peacefully seemed farfetched, too. But they found a way. Now Europe forms one economic block which the UK has chosen to distance itself from. But for how long? As the EU grows in power, sooner or later it will bump heads with the US and UK if we all remain divided. The US is spread pretty thin right now between Asia, the Middle East and elsewhere; if all the players pounded the table we'd be short a few cards. And a lot of the cards we're holding are Mexican. As in line soldiers and officers. Point is, if the world heats up, the US needs all the help it can get. Why not marry the girl next door? Especially when her brothers will watch your back and work their hearts out for you. A Pan American Empire would be invincible, immune from resource embargoes and presenting too many targets for even a nuclear or biological attack to succeed. A hemispheric union would make sense strategically and economically (vast new internal market).

I can see opposition from existing empires, who might not want the hillbilly cousins to wake up to their own self-interest.

Ok, suppose the US stays out. What if the Latin States pull this off? A Latin American Union, sans the US and Canada. That might be a strategic loss for the US. Imagine being faced by a southern power block including a nuclear-armed Brazil!

Once it's created they will no longer be sovereign states. You'll be held accountable to an even larger political machine.


Why so more jobs can flow out of the country and we can all be equally poor?




It's called the consitution of the United States. the American people have let the document get shreded. Govertments actions so far have been in diminising our rights not expanding them.

The problem is that these "unions" are usually done regardless of the peoples wishes. More power to control more people only leads to slavery. It's already here.
