Look I was given an offer I just couldn't refuse (bananas for a whole month) anyone in the same boat would have done the same
(plus I looked darn hot).
I remember meeting beezer at that time, he got the hump when I suggested a saddle.

Here is Koko with her Kittens

And when Allball got run down (koko named her cats) here is Koko being very sad

(I though I would make a new thread because the other was made with hate and we don't need the drama talking about Primates)

Koko the gorilla is so sweet. I know I have seen some videos before, but i have never seen the one where koko cries over the kitty that died...that sure got me boo hoooing... I am having an odd day. Emotions of up and down.

And yes we need more positive and uplifting things. Hate is not needed...ever...
I like this thread and I thank you for starting it.

And it is not rude to cuddle kittens

I received this in an e-mail along with several pics as evidence:

After a mother chimpanzee who lived in a zoo died, one of the zoo's employees took the baby chimp home to care for it. It never crossed his mind that his dog, who had recently given birth would adopt the chimp and raise it with her pups. Judging by the look on her face at times, she is not quite sure why this particular offspring has hands to grab her with. Now that portrays unconditional love. Something to think about!!!!!

Here are a few more of several pics from the e-mail:

Unfortunately my aunt didn't provide any links to the source.

Ah wow, thank you! Without a doubt they are some of the most cutest pictures I've ever seen
That looks like one very happy, cared for little chimp! Unconditional love indeed.... I'd love to know more... Assuming the chimp was eventually returned to the zoo, I wonder if they ever take the dog to visit him/her

Re Koko, I got it into my head that I was quite prepared to take a trip out to CA to meet her! But apparently they don't allow public visits

I am so happy you started this. Obviously, I too have an afinity for our genetic cousins.

These videos will give me a good viewing tonight (which i don't often do). I watched a couple (the Koko crying, and the collaborative chimp.

I can't remember how showed me this in the other thread but thankyou.

Here is some more Chimps being outside for the first time.

Hi Boymonkey and folks.

I wanted to post this yesterday evening before running off to stuff myself with garlic snails but was getting nagged by Mrs R to hurry up...

The proof that no matter what colour or language or difference they have... primates can live together :

The Saimiri (squirrel monkey) is one type of primate that i had the joy of working with for many years as i said in the "other" thread.

Kindest respects
