Thoughts come about "The Past" and these images, sounds, and words are held on to even though they no longer exist.

Thoughts come about "The Future" and these images, sounds, and words are held on to even though it doesn't actually exist, and it is just a fantasy or a prediction based on one's own opinions of what will be.

The Present is The Past and The Future.
This moment is here and yet it is already done (Present-Past).
This moment is here and yet it continues to change and be (Present-Future).

You are now free to be here, because it is where you already are. Each moment is happening and it is happening anew. You don't have to recreate a "Past" or a "History" for yourself. To let go of the past memories of disappointment, conflict, and hate is Forgiveness. The absence of a past is Innocence, Purity, and Grace.

Become Born Again, realize that each moment is new. This moment is new. This moment is free of the past, and it is also free of the future - until it is here, but even the future will be now and once this moment is gone, it is done and Grace is Born Again anew.

I am writing this reply from your future. You will be reading it in my past. By the time you have finished reading this and imaging in your mind i will have adjusted my crotch and plucked a nose hair out in my past but your future.
Together we have helped make the present.
Whoa, mind boggle

Why would you crouch to pluck nose hairs?

Did I just say that ?

My spelling is terrible. I adjusted it to "crotch".
But the thought of crouching and plucking nose hairs is interesting indeed. Maybe next time

I like your posts, You are correct. In fact, if you read some books by Dr. Fred Alan Wolf (like Parallel Universes) it goes into how your mind is actually communicating with the past and the future versions of itself from the present to remember and to... achieve a desired result?

It took me 58 years to define who and what I am, and you want me to let go of all of my life experiences and start over again?

Sorry mate. The mental image was just ... too much.

But, hey ... It's done, it's already done.

Ok so after 58 years how do you now define yourself?

Are you your life experiences? Are you made of the past?
Or are you always now?

Fully human.
Sometimes funny.
Sometimes serious.
Sometimes angry.
Sometimes happy.
Sometimes hateful.
Sometimes forgiving.
Sometimes hopeful.
Sometimes wallowing in despair.
Sometimes content.
Sometimes regretful.
Sometimes patient.
Sometimes not.
I am all human all the time.

Would you say that you are nothing in particular?

I am the total accumulation of my past, my metabolism, and the chemical make-up of my brain - all combined and living in the now.

Yes. Just like the billions that have come and gone before me.

Living is always now. Aliveness is now. Thoughts appear now that tell you about you and you probably believe what they say - but who are they actually speaking about? Are you an idea of yourself?
Or are you (now) the space is which all things (including thought and sensation and colour and sound) arise and subside in.
There is only presence but when the idea of you living in time arises it can lead you to believe you are man. Do not be deceived by the talking serpent!

Take note of your signature:
I would rather have no idea than to live with the wrong idea.

Nothing has ever been before you and nothing will ever be after you.
You are nothing and in that nothing (space) all things appear and disappear.
You are emptiness perceiving.

Can nothing cease to be?

Thought must account for "something". Now picture a green apple.
Did you picture the green apple?
I just conducted thought transfer. I do not know if it worked

There must be a sender and receiver for this to occur. That counts as a little more than nothing to me. I cant be empty for this to occur as i need to have a base for translation.

'Apple' is an appearance - in and on what does it appear? The thought 'apple' - does it have any solidity? Is it not just a wisp of nothing appearing in nothing.

You are like a screen on a tv. The screen on the tv is primary - the screen must be before any picture can appear. When the tv is on and there are pictures moving on it - the screen seems to disappear because your attention is on the moving pictures.
At night when you shut your eyes it is like the tv being switched off. The screen is empty of things. You are emptiness until the light (tv) comes on and then you are full of the image that is presently appearing.
When the light (tv) is on and the movie is moving the screen is overlooked but it is always present as it is primary - nothing can appear to appear without the screen being present.

The screen is always present but the screen never makes an appearance - an appearance appears on the screen. The screen is not perceivable as it is what perceives.

So you didn't think of the apple?
I thought of the the apple...twice now. lol
A thought can be measured by an electroencephalograph as an electromagnetic reading. At the very least my brain is catching something and sending out these impulses.
At best i can tell i am definitely something in the spin cycle of the past, present and future.
