Well then you should also be familiar with the artifacts that you can't explain, you know like batteries and models of flying things. Things of that nature.

Be precise,

What batteries? The Baghdad Batteries?

Eventually the golden age will return its beginning cycle, once the earth recovers from the devastation.

So whats the cycle in between called?

Recovery of such devastation wouldn't be overnight would it?

Do you know how facts and knowledge are gained to be able to be taught to man?

www.crystalinks.com... Egyptian battery Baghdad battery www.world-mysteries.com... www.smith.edu... does that answer your question?

Cool,

some hieroglyphs that one could interpret as not being globes but more of a sexual nature or anything ones mind can come up with.

Baghdad Battery, If it is and was used as shown, the computer I am on now to me seems a little more technologically complex, meaning technology has advanced from getting a charge out of citric fluids to hand held computers (smart phones) and steadily advancing.

Modern man with all his so-called technological marvels and genius still can't build those things today.

Why?

Because man built it before.

Man could easily replicate in these modern times or are you under the impression we are in the stone age?

CAN'T

Right. So we can build a scale model of it in Las Vegas out of glass and metal that, while shorter by about 120 feet, has nearly 4500 rooms and literally hundreds of times the interior space and is still structurally sound enough to be a casino... but we couldn't build one out of rock that has essentially no real interior room? Makes absolute sense!

Until you or someone can build a real pyramid or balance a rock like at corral castle to the degree of perfection of the original, you're just speculating. Fact: no one in modern times ever has.

Corral castle, not in modern times?

A real pyramid?

That's good abstract thinking, maybe we're doing exactly that to them ancient texts.
But golly gee old me, they sure knew how to build their monuments, and boy, their philosophy on the interior persona of us as a collective one still baffles me.

To get into that. When I look at the old Egyptian texts (Book of the Dead f.ex.) I get the gist that they are trying to set up a set of instructions on how to navigate in our mind to be a better "us".

But who knows, maybe it was just written as a fun read fiction and I read t much into it.

All I know is I know nothing, the only thing I am is my belief.

I wouldn't call it fun read for them, but you get my point that we only speculate what it is all about. I can't say that they have gone into much detail either in their instructions or philosophies. It would be like we suggest they had a set of instructions to replace someone heart by saying "cut out old heart, put new heart in hole" .

One thing I can say though is their abstract abilities were going crazy, just like ours does today. The difference is they didn't have a lot of support or tools to make their abstracts work for them. They did as you suggest in building and that is a great example where man was able to support his abstract thinking with physical referents.

because I thought they always taught us in school that closeness to the sun doesn't account fr our change in weather.

So how do we get summer and winter, what are the seasons?

help me understand this logic.

If there is a flame on a candle burning you put the palm of hand facing it at a half a meter away, you move your hand closer and it doesn't get warmer?

Please explain how you have come to believe this as it makes no sense.

In the Creationist's world view, Earth was made by God some 6,000 years ago,

While that may be some ignorant creationists views, the bible does not say this. In fact it says in Gen. 1:1 to 1:2 that the Earth became void and was wrecked. This would explain the tilt of the Earth which caused instant freezing of Mammoths which are found today frozen with buttercups in their mouths. The Earth did not slowly freeze and then they froze as there would not have been fresh vegetation to eat and stay in their mouths as it would have rotted away.

I listened to a very good show the other night on the radio with a geneticist who explained why people who teach evolution do not talk to scientists who understand DNA and genetics. There is no way for things to evolve over millions of years that will need teeth, digestive and reproductive systems. They would simply die out too fast.

The Sheer number of things that would have to happen to make a mammal would be akin to a plane junkyard with little parts being hit by a tornado and out pops at 747 when it is done.

Congratulations you found one of my blonde moments.

This thread alone has how many of yours?

Why not stick to your thread and answer questions posed?

Are the questions above your level of understanding?

What gives?

Is 1923 not modern times in terms of the ages you are speaking of?

What is a real pyramid?

What would be the purpose and what positive outcomes would come of replicating the Cheops Pyramid?

Just to prove to idiots who cant comprehend that it can be done?

Are you willing to fork out the finances and manpower to accomplish this just to to prove for your likes that its possible?

You do realize that the word Veda itself refers to the act of "knowing" or knowledge, correct?

The Sanskrit word véda "knowledge, wisdom" is derived from the root vid- "to know". This is reconstructed as being derived from the Proto-Indo-European root *u̯eid-, meaning "see" or "know"

You may even forget that the Vedas were an oral tradition, much like the Jewish Kabbalah, way before it was ever written down.

Here's an analogy : If I draw a painting of the Mona Lisa, but never show it to anybody for 30 years, then at some point I begin to introduce it to people; does the time of introduction necessarily correlate a time of creation? No. No, it doesn't.

Another one for you : How long did computers exist in the corporate, private, and government sectors before the public ever had access to them? What about the technology that we hold above all else today? How can we be sure that because it is being "introduced" to us now, that it necessarily equals the date of creation? We never can be, which is why I think it irresponsible to say because the Vedas were transcribed from 1500bc- 200bc, that it actually means the inception of such 'knowledge'.

In conclusion, just because the Jews and Hindu's chose to transcribe their sacred knowledge at a later point in time; does not necessarily correlate that transcription to the time of creation. For they must have existed as ideas before they can be transcribed. That said, what proof is there that these two events happened simultaneously?? None.. How can you prove that they didn't simply write it down in order to preserve it from becoming a faded memory? You can't...

Tolkien did indeed write fiction, but even one who preaches discernment such as you, should be able to separate the wheat from the chaff...The problem with this point is, I have also seen information, while speculative, that Tolkien was influenced by Rosicrucianism, another secret society, and offshoot of the Egyptian mystery school....

Odd how these people who used the same concept, were both influenced by the same sources; yet totally unrelated.....
I mean, it's like Ockham's Razor suddenly went out the window with skeptics..

The difference between us is not in the amount of "information" we store; but in the trust and belief of those who gave us that information. I do not trust the mainstream scientists you go on about, while at the same time you do not trust the ancient cultures like I do. While we could banter back and forth all day on this subject, and likely others, why not just agree to disagree with the other one, hmm?

Kali is the reigning lord of Kali Yuga and his nemesis is Sri Kalki, the tenth and final Avatar of Lord Vishnu. According to the Vishnu Purana, Kali is a negative manifestation working towards the cause of 'the end' or rather towards eventual rejuvenation of the universe.[9] Kali also serves as an antagonistic force in the Kalki Purana. It is said that towards the end of this yuga, Kalki will return riding on a white horse to do battle with Kali and his dark forces. The world will suffer a fiery end that will destroy all evil, and a new age, Satya Yuga, will begin.

Erm, what? What the hell has Genesis got to do with the axial tilt of the Earth?

Well, since you asked.....

The book of Genesis tells us that the earth became without form and was made void. So, there was another existence thank that of chaos. We are then given clues elsewhere of what that existence was such as in Job when it talks of the animal with a tail like that of a cedar. That is over 100 feet long. Any animals that fit that description? Then we are told that at one time the earth was a constant temperate climate and there was a layer of water in the heavens which science has shown would block UV rays which cause us to age faster and there was a higher oxygen environment which those big beasties would have needed to actually run around.

So, if the earth was of one climate then how does it go to having seasons? Why it tilts, and when might that have happened? Why at the Katabole when it was thrown into chaos which we see with the cute little wooly mammoths flash frozen with buttercups in their mouth.

So, yes, Genesis lays the breadcrumb trail. Also, Peter speaks in the NT of an age that was, the age that is, and the age that is to come.

Exactly, just like the Jews once learned the Torah orally I believe, memorizing it all. Then after the mind started to deteriorate within this age, they had to write it down.

The mind used to be able to communicate with others telepathically (my belief anyway) and then through the use of a symbolic language. A language like we have of English today which relies more on spelling and grammar rather than symbols and sounds is another indication of the spiral downward our race has gone. It's terribly difficult to communicate with one another, there is such ambiguity and misinterpretation and distrust of the meaning from others etc etc etc.

To be perfectly candid, my heart aches for the way things really used to be, and the banishment of all that is evil, pretentious, and selfish.
