If you are running low on gas in your car, roll the windows up, turn off the A/C, and most importantly, turn the radio off! You might be able to coast in to the gas station runnin on fumes, then.

Always car a car window around with you when you are lost in the desert...

Like that when you get too hot you can wind it down!
