Most of you may be aware of haarpstatus.com - they have been mentioned here on ATS many times over. Although I personally think that haarpstatus.com is a bunch of malarkey, I subscribe to their Facebook page. Last night they posted a link to an article about the HAARP facility in Gakona, Alaska being bought out by an individual named Kevin Martin from another website called "The Weather Space." Here is a screen shot of the original Facebook post , which has since been deleted. . .

Now let's take a step back - It's easy enough to piece together that the HAARP Status site is, in fact, run by The Weather Space site. Both sites are owned and operated solely by Mr. Kevin Martin. Click the link to the aforementioned article ( www.theweatherspace.com... ) and you'll find an article that Mr. Martin wrote in third person, referring to himself as the purchaser of the HAARP facility after it "ran out of money."

After reading the article with much skepticism, I was drawn to the Facebook page for The Weather Space, where I found a post by Mr. Martin (since deleted after several negative comments) claiming he was headed to Alaska for "research purposes." Here is a screen shot . . .

At this point, I personally commented and inquired as to how Mr. Martin had funding to purchase a multi-billion dollar government facility. To my surprise, he immediately responded in a defensive and somewhat hostile manner. Below is a screen shot of my comment and his response . . .
i1274.photobucket.com...

Several other Facebookers jumped in and began accusing Mr. Martin of being a Freemason who comes from a family with "higher powers." Here are a couple of screen shots of those comments and Mr. Martins response to them . . .

A simple Google search will pull up nearly everything you could wish to know about Mr. Kevin Martin. He is a 28 year old, self proclaimed "rouge meteorologist" with no formal education in meteorology. In fact, to my knowledge, he doesn't hold a degree on any subject and his education stopped at the high school level. Below is a screen shot and link to a bio Mr. Martin wrote for one of his failed websites back in 2009, admitting his lack of education . . .

Mr. Martin also appears to be a known anti-government conspiracy theorist who once threated to sue The National Weather Service after they were forced to issue a public statement about his dangerously unfounded forecasts and copycat alerts which he created to mimic the layout of official NWS alerts. He is well known on the chem trail scene.

He personally runs several websites and at least 2 blogs, including but not limited to . . .
theweatherspace.com
haarpstatus.com
chemtrailforecast.com
southerncaliforniaweatherauthority.com
scwxa.org (since removed)
scwxa.wordpress.com
redlands.patch.com/blogs/kevin-martins-blog

Here is a screen shot from one of his blogs in which he claims to have professionally worked in meteorology for "15 years," which would make him 13 years old when he started . . .
i1274.photobucket.com...

Furthermore, Mr. Kevin Martin personally runs at least 20 Facebook accounts including, but not limited to . . .
Senior Meteorologist Kevin Martin
Haarp Status
The Weather Space.com
Chemtrail Forecast Systems
The Weather Spce.com Geology
The Weather Space.com Astronomy
TWS Tropical Weather
Southern California Weather Authority.com
Many more can be found by investigating the "likes" of the Southern California Weather Authority page. Most are under SCWXA umbrella.

Mr. Martin is well known for begging donations off of his followers in an attempt to fund his various low-budget websites. Most of his Facebook pages have a "Donate to Network" link, front and center.

Once the puzzle pieces are fit together, one starts to wonder how Mr. Martin would have the expendable cash to "buy" the multi-billion dollar HAARP facility in Gakona, Alaska when he can't even acquire the funding to maintain a handful of hobbyist websites or to get a formal education. This also damages his credibility as a "Freemason from a high powered family" - statements which Mr. Martin doesn't deny. One would think that a man with such high connections would have no problem funding a college degree or a few cheapie websites. Further more, how can Mr. Martin expect anyone to believe that the United State Government would allow a conspiracy theorist with no meteorological education to "buy" or conduct any sort of "research" at a facility such as HAARP?

The only confirmation that I can even find of HAARP running out of funding can be found on the website for the National Association for Amateur Radio. Here is a link to the article dated from just 3 days ago ---> www.arrl.org... . The article does not mention Kevin Martin or The Weather Space. It does, however, mention that research will continue to be conducted at the facility through winter of 2013 by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA), which many of you are familiar with.

Fellow ATSers, do you have an opinion on the supposed shutdown of the HAARP project or Kevin Martin himself? Do you believe that Mr. Martin is an outright liar, or could there be something more to this story?
Is there anyone out there with better research skills than my own that is able to spend some time investigating the shutdown of HAARP and/or Mr. Martin's connection?

Hmm very interesting. I knew nothing of Kevin Martin and his site until now. My guess is he bought into just a small portion of HAARP and does not have complete access into everything that it can do. He has a contract to use the facility but that does not mean he has the funds to perform any actual procedures. He may be just looking at the layout and design so he could potentially build one himself. I don't know just a guess but I'm interested in the responses.

I know nothing of this person of whom you speak, but I have in my possession an email from the Air Force which says pretty much what the radio site says that HAARP was closed because the generators did not meet EPA standards. Accordingly the site has been mothballed.

Sounds to me like this person is speaking with forked tongue.

He could not possibly have 'owned' the HAARP site as it was haarp.alaska.edu - thus a sub web of alaska.edu.

My personal feeling is that the text of the ARRL web page is correct.

Your guess would be wrong, as this man is a scam artist and his sites are a sham. And he has nothing to do with HAARP except his phony HAARPstatus website.

I noticed the Melvin Kartin thing, as well. After snooping around a bit and visiting a few different weather forums, I discovered that whoever goes by the name "Melvin Kartin" is some kind of weatherman arch rival hell bent on destroying Kevin Martins reputation. Weatherman wars. Lmao. Good for him.

I encountered him on facebook a few years ago when I had a facebook. He got in serious trouble with the national weather service for fearmongering. He claimed to always be more accurate in his forecasting but was never proven to be so. I exchanged a few comments with him questioning his research and methods and was ignored or blocked or something. And my questions were deleted.

He is a scam artist trying to make a buck by positively affirming his "achievements" through a variety of sock puppets.

Yes, that's him. He and his brother are scam artists and prays on people by sad sympathy stories (Kevin claims to have a health disorder which he doesn't disclose and recently claimed that he was being impersonated and made to look bad). One of his satellite facebook sites "Australian Haarp Status" was recently deleted because the admins of the site discovered that the "data" that was being fed to them was falsified. Kevin Martin should be stopped. He has rage issues and drug addictions (this was said by him on his personal facebook page) and scams people for their money. It's a very pathetic situation.

I was witness to this event unfolding. I believe Mr. Martin to be a fraud and I also suspect that he indeed has acquired research time at the haarp facility in Alaska. DARPA along with NOAA, NSA and the CIA will be conducting research there this fall as the ARRL reported. A physicist later reported that indeed, the government is moving to privatize that particular facility and is contracting to civilians. He mentioned two companies by name and said "and others" which was a vague "umbrella" statement. ?? I believe that Mr. Martin retracted his original statements of going to Alaska because he began receiving death threats. I also believe that he absolutely could receive that money needed to acquire research time if he has had enough money donated to him by his followers and supporters, which he indeed has some loyal (yet blind) fans. We are in trouble if Mr. Martin gets his hands on that facility and gets to "see what it can do" as reported by the individual who was originally relaying the information the Kevin Martin was posting about going to Alaska. I fear what would be the result if the Haarp facility in Alaska is indeed subcontracted to civilians, no matter who it may be.....

A physicist, and I wish I could remember his name, reported about three weeks ago that the ARRL misunderstood what the Air Force had reported and that the Haarp Facility in Alaska was not "shut down" and there was planned research there this fall including DARPA, NOAA, NSA and the CIA. The physicist also confirmed that the site was being privatized and subcontracting research time to civilians.... I'm sure there is more to the story than we know, but this has been a scandal among followers of the haarp site in Alaska and many people are outraged at what is going on. Using the site is alone, horrendous but contracting to civilians is detrimental no matter who they are...

He looks like a contestant in a half-assed Johnny Depp wanna be contest. On the other hand he could be a government spook, like Bob lazar. I'd like to see the HAARP torn down along with any other facility on this plant that messes with the weather.
