And didn't even belong to a single class that used him as one.

So the news media takes someone like Zimmerman, whom experienced so little racism that liberals consider him white - and then turn that against him??

What is this madness? Who is really pushing a racial agenda? And is it really about race, or just privilege? And if it is about privilege, why drag white people into it who aren't privileged, or race at all? Or Zimmerman?

My last question is this - do we, as the American common class, deserve to live middle-class or at least somewhat decent lives? If we sabotage each other over petty things, who is getting that money? Is it going to some fund to help the poor? More than likely not. The effort the news media put into covering the Zimmerman trial could have just as easily been used to expose real corruption in our government and corporate world.

So who is Zimmerman? He is one of us, someone who has been used as a target to distract us from taking out our frustrations on the people who deserve it.

The case plays on what the nation as a whole is feeling -

Were we mad at Zimmerman because he was white? Because he was a member of the elite and a cop?

Probably, but Zimmerman was Hispanic, a member of the neighborhood watch and barely middle-class. A perfect scapegoat - someone able to take the blame for all three without being a member of any of them! Meanwhile, the N.S.A. collects our data, the elite continue to broker deals with the senate and nothing changes. But we feel better because we took it out on some poor, unlucky man, ironically racially profiled himself into being a white, cop elitist.

Isn't it time to put our racial tensions aside and bind together for a better tomorrow for us, the people of America? Or are we going to continue to be manipulated into making decisions that hamper our progress against the real objective, to work together to improve the quality of the Average American Life? We must shed the Zimmerman verdict, forgive and move forward towards the real objective.

It would be easier to move on if people would STOP posting about Zimmerman/Trayvon.

That's an interesting perspective, as it's very much true.Every once in a while a member in the ATS community will hit the nail square on the head, and those points should be emphasized.I haven't really commented on the Zimmerman situation much because I'd prefer to not get worked up over racial situations. Indeed, there are real racial prejudices happening every day. The minority employment rate and minority prison population come to mind as very real things we do need to take into consideration. Unfortunately, to the chagrin of some, stand your ground law is not even relatively close to being at the spearhead of racial discrimination. How it could even be considered as such is really astounding. It's one of those things that's really difficult to quantify because of the absurdity of it.This is clearly a case of divide and conquer. It is also clearly a case of if you create a perceived threat average men will not only endorse their rights to be taken, but actually applaud the action. We need to be very careful how we proceed, because this could end badly.

Most reasonable and rational minded people don't care whatsoever what the race pimps and morons on the left are desperately trying to make this out to be. They lost credibility on matters of race a very very long time ago.

Zimmerman was a scapegoat ?

Bigtime to say the least !! and still IS, and always will be.

The points about him being part White part Hispanic gave the tree choppers a perfect way to emphasize their political race baiting tactics.

The 'pre-trial' hearings and verdicts by the MSM and the politicians were astounding and all calculated.

The post (real) trial MSM tactics are just as bad.

I think the choppers used their axes in the wrong direction however.

You know..... when you chop down a tree, you always cut the notch so the tree falls where you want it to fall.

Here's what happened as the verdict was being announced.......

The 'pushers' in this are exposed ....

Dream Defenders, the main group that has been agitating the protest movement surrounding the Trayvon Martin case, was spawned by activists employed by a who’s who of the race-hijacking radical left.

From the socialist-oriented SEIU union to ACORN to Occupy to a litany of George Soros-funded organizations, the deep connections behind Dream Defenders raises questions about the motivation of an organization that claims to be a grassroots effort working to oppose racism.

Dream Defenders has been leading Martin protests since the onset and has been credited with agitating for George Zimmerman’s arrest.

Trayvon Martin protest leaders revealed

the big question is WHO is funding them ?

Is Soros actually involved ?

I bet yes.
