These were taken overlooking Sydney Harbour a few weeks ago.

Scary stuff when you look at the effects of it all.

wish i could claim the pics as mine. But no, i did'nt take them.

My aunt who lives there sent them to me, as to who took them, im not too sure.

Amazing pictures! I wish I could snap something that clear. The pics are awesome even if the lightning wasn't there....just makes them 10x better.

I would imagine so. Australia is having its summer right now, so i would guess that includes storms just like we get when the weather is humid etc.

Im an aussie and this is pretty normal, more so in Queensland. The pics are sweet though. This years going to be quite a unique summer weather wise with el nino.

Man that is a serious bolt of lighting in the first pic. i do not hink i have ever seen a bolt of lightning with the width as that one. I love thunderstorms and would have loved to be there for that one. Thanks for the post.
