I bet everyone was thinking that all the viruses and Trojans and rootkits are on porn sites, right??

But apparently they are not - no - it seems it's easier to hack the less well run sites than the porn masters - who actually have an interest in keeping their sites free to cater for return business!!

…religious and ideological sites were found to have triple the average number of threats per infected site than adult/pornographic sites. We hypothesize that this is because pornographic website owners already make money from the internet and, as a result, have a vested interest in keeping their sites malware-free – it’s not good for repeat business.

So that means all websites? What website isn't religious or ideological?
Pornographic websites aren't one of them, that's for sure.

You could argue religion is malware of the mind.

The article title reads:
'Church is to give you three times more likely a virus than porn'

Any tech worth his salt should already know religious websites can be just as prone to viruses/malware as porn sites, gaming sites, recipe and coupon sites, etc.

But I'm not buying into the "three times more likely" bit.

Viruses are prevalent because the corporate computer industry need them to be prevalent. How can a doctor cure you, if you aren't sick? A whole industry within the computer industry was created from the ideas of hacking and viruses.

The next time you get an infection, or hacked. Thank the real purveyors of fine filth. The computer industry.

There was a search done for some porn sites in the past. When clicked-on...a photo of Jesus popped up. Not quite the same, but we did wonder on the fact that those Christians who did that...had to go find the porn 1st to set it up!
