Panama: North Korean ship stopped with missile parts from Cuba

MEXICO CITY—The Panamanian government has discovered what appears to be “sophisticated missile equipment” hidden in the hull of a North Korean container ship that had set sail from Cuba and was slated to head home via the Panama Canal, President Ricardo Martinelli said late Monday.

So, a ship was detained attempting to pass through the Panama Canal. It was originally thought the vessel might contain drugs since it came from Cuba, however upon investigation missile material was found amongst the cargo.

If this is true, it will would probably be linked back not only to Cuba, but also to Russia. What I find interesting about this is it seems very timely considering that Russia and Possibly Cuba were on the list of potential spots for Edward Snowden asylum bid.

Anywho, I'll be keeping an eye on this one....
