From my memory in the last 50 years Iran has not invaded, aggressively subverted or covertly attacked any other nation.

They held Americans hostage.

and then they gave them back for a deal only for the US to break the deal

USA is the devil of the world, never trust the yankees, one day their own citizens will be victims of their evilness

There is a lot of evil in America.

But they haven't taken Iranians hostage.

I imagine if law abiding Iranians, and not terrorists were ever taken hostage by terrorists the president wouldn't sit around and do nothing and give Allah a reason to take him off the earth.

We have serial killers, strip clubs, pornography industry, high teen pregnancy rate, lots of atheists, child molesters, even though most of the people are good. What we do not have is armed religious extremists running around with the approval of the gov't abducting people. When religious extremists appear in this country and take up arms and weapons they usually wind up dead because the gov't doesn't tolerate them like the Shah did.

How about the US/Israeli Stuxnet virus that was created to target Iran Nuclear Power stations?
Not to mention it's successor, Flame?

Just because it is happening in Cyber space doesn't mean that it isn't an act of war.

Blood thirsty Conquers?

Really, the rhetoric you are trying to sell makes for good TV drama, but in the real World, its not what you are making it out it be.

Really?
Perhaps you have forgotten the hand full or so countries the US has invaded over the last 10 years?
All in the name of what? Oh yes... "Democracy".

One more thing? America is not a Perfect Country, by a long shot. Its screwed up beyond belief. But, we haven't issued grandiose statements like NK when it comes to Nuclear Weapons.

I never said you had... what the fk is it with you lot putting words into others mouths?
Have you got that much crap coming out of your own that you have no idea where to put it?

Has war stopped? NOPE! hence nuclear missiles are not a deterrence.

War hasn't stopped because the countries the US/Israel are attacking haven't had nukes!
Why do you think NK hasn't nuked the US yet? Because they would be nuked back.

It doesn't matter how you try and sell it to yourself, Nuclear Weapons are a deterrent.

Kind like the "fear' of Iran trying to go nuclear to save them from the evil west ?

If you want a case point... Libya.
No reason for the US to attack Libya... at all... Except for oil and inserting a Central Bank.
Libya was doing perfectly well, and by point, better than the US until the US decided to invade and ruin everyone's lives for profit.

True which is why unlike some I can admit the US does some messed up stuff but wonder why that is hardly anyone will admit Iran,Russia, and China are just as screwed up.

Who? What... Huh?
This thread isn't about Iran's, Russia's or China's misgivings or questionable traits and tactics.
This is about the UN sanctioning Iran over a couple tests that are in the hopes of better protect Iran.

And no I didn't here

If you guys believe that they will religiously observe a fatwa then you have no worries about Iran getting nuclear weapons.

Well if that is the case then Russia and China, Iran have committed acts of war after all just because it happened in cyber space doesn't meant it isn't an act of war.

As am I...

Every single one of those articles were Post-Stuxnet... I'd call that a retaliation against what has been done to them.
What's good for the goose, is good for the gander.

Still not seeing Iran as an aggressor, again, just as a defender.

Wait what?

Saying the Russia and China and Iran were not waging 'cyber warfare' before stuxnet?

Really?

Guess never gonna get to see a 'non biased' view in this thread,.

Yeah!

In 2011, an Iranian attack targeted Comodo, which issues Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates. SSL certificates are used to encrypt communications between a user’s Internet browser and a website—they ensure the secure transmission of private information.

ran had much more success in harming major Dutch SSL provider, DigiNotar.

www.theepochtimes.com...

Those Damn Americans!

Attack Comodo and the Dutch for it!

In March, Iranian Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Cyberspace Fighters claimed responsibility for the attacks on six leading U.S. banks, including J.P. Morgan Chase, testified Frank Cilluffo, director of the Homeland Security Policy Institute, before the U.S. Department of Defense Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Infrastructure Protection, and Security Technologies. Cilluffo was also the moderator for Siboni’s talk at George Washington University.

Those damn Americans !

Attack their banks and the Saudis!

That will 'teach them!

haha!
omg lol.

Game over... You no longer have any fight in this thread.

AGAIN, from the VERY link YOU provide;

Iran Gets Defensive Iran has been at the receiving end of a major cyber-attack: Stuxnet. Launched in 2009 and 2010, and possibly as early as 2008, Stuxnet shut down more than 1,000 centrifuges used in the Iranian uranium enrichment program in Natanz.

PRE-Dating the Iran Defensive attacks in 2011.

Move along.

Game over?

Seriously?

So let's be 'perfectly clear' here Iran doesn't do anything wrong?

Like commiting acts of war like cyber warfare, and the date is meaningless

Russia and China are both the largest people in the cyber warfare business, and Iran engages in the same activities.

Agreed someone does need to move along.

You are completely missing the mark...
I never said Iran hasn't done anything wrong have I?
I have said however that everything you have linked as proof of Iran's misdoings are actually evidence of retaliation... Not the instigation of attack.
But you keep overlooking that FACT. The FACTS that YOU post.

To quote again;

Like commiting acts of war like cyber warfare, and the date is meaningless

AFTER the US/Israel INITIATED the FIRST attack.
Yes...

and the date is meaningless

Of course it is when you are trying to paint an enemy and not the facts of history.

First, I didn't vote for the current president. Second, I have no say in Israel and I have no say in Iran.

So to be honest with you. I've seen the #storm that was coming when Obama was elected and I don't agree with really anything he has done.

To answer your question, no there isn't a president or leader that's a saint. Proves my point about Iran though. They are just as corrupt, if not more so. Iran is shady as hell and that's just the way I feel about it.

Yeah they do

See Iraq,Afghanistan,Syria,Lebannon.

Must have missed that 15,000 Iranian troops in Syria link by RT.

rt.com...

Iran is quietly working with the terror group Hezbollah to ensure that Syria remains aligned with Tehran if Syrian President Bashar al-Assad is deposed by rebel forces, according to an Israeli research organization.

www.liveleak.com...

So what about that foreign agression that is killing the Syrians?

with a little help from their 'friends' Russia and China?
