A captured cat brought to a shelter can be put up for adoption. If there are too many cats, they can also be neutered.

Euthanizing them in a shelter is painless, running them over with a car probably hurts. See the difference?

I don't enjoy other people's cats pissing and #ting in my flower beds. I also don't enjoy repairing the fan belts on my truck after somebodies cat crawled up next to the radiator to take a warm nap, also pretty hard on the cat. I don't begrudge people owning cats or dogs, if that's their thing, just keep'em in the house.
