I came here to drop this URL that Greenwood Twittered earlier and see you posted a Reuter's column about the same thing. This link has a bit more than the Reuter's column though; so, thought you may want to see it too.

Greenwald: Snowden’s Files Are Out There if ‘Anything Happens’ to Him

Snowden has shared encoded copies of all the documents he took so that they won’t disappear if he does, Glenn Greenwald tells Eli Lake.

He pulled a Wiki Leaks/Assange sort of "insurance" trick to ensure his safety.

He definitivly has his "insurance" in order.
I'm just waiting for the US to go after the foreign journalists too for actually publishing this stuff.

The former NSA systems administrator has already given encoded files containing an archive of the secrets he lifted from his old employer to several people. If anything happens to Snowden, the files will be unlocked.

I wonder if Michael Hastings was one of these people given the files? Has anyone speculated on this?

I would say because what he leaked was a tiny fraction of their capability and it was probably a set up to further destabilize us in the world on order to minimize our position.
You have to remove America if you want to take over the world.
Too bad for them we still have guns.
