Seems very plausible! They do, after all, use echolocation, and that's not so different from what we do for ultrasounds. Theirs is surely more
precise, too.
Still, it's not just dolphins that can know. We had a dog that knew I was pregnant before I did. She would sit and place her nose on the arm of my
chair, watching my stomach. Yes, very protective dog. She knew, though. Smell, I suspect, in that case.
