I know who I would vote for if I were an American.

Outspoken rocker Ted Nugent is weighing his political options and considering a run for the White House. The conservative Republican has earned a name for himself in the political arena as an advocate for hunting and gun ownership rights, and now he is considering a presidential bid in 2016. He tells the Washington Post, “Yeah, I’m thinking about it... Things are just so wrong in the country now. And I know that my answers would make things wonderful.” The guitarist has teased the public about the possibility of running for office before, but his wife, Shemane Deziel, insists this time her husband is for real, explaining, “He’s talked about it before. But this time he seems more serious. People are constantly asking him to run.” And former presidential candidate Mike Huckabee has already thrown his support behind the 64-year-old musician, even offering to help launch Nugent’s electoral campaign. He adds, “Ted says things in public that I wouldn’t even say in private, but what people look for more than anything is authenticity. I’m probably as strait-laced a Republican as there is, but I’d rather be around Ted Nugent, who has an absolute honesty about him, than a so-called values guy who is secretly bedding down half his staff... If he runs, I’ll go help him.”

Anyone who wants to rule, doesn't deserve to rule. Ted Nugent is an idiot, and I wouldn't want him running anything in this country. I mean anyone who has a reality TV show about his life, where he sets up a buffalo run next to him on a horse with a bow and arrow and a camera crew rolling along to film its predetermined setup death, doesn't deserve to be in charge of anything.

Its cute that you still think that the Office of the Presidency is above such idiocy.

I'm not sure I'd want a President Nugent. After all.... Where does he stand on firearms rights? I'm not really sure... can someone help remind me? He's so vague and evasive on some things..

I agree with a lot of his politics but am not sure about supporting his possible run for the oval office.

He can be very divisive and I just feel we need to get a moderate in the white house before the left-right battle destroys us for good.

No more far left or far right candidates. Just my humble opinion. I'm sick of politicians and their appeasement of EITHER the left or right because it doesn't unite us as a whole.

No way in hell I would vote for him. I doubt he will run anyway. Just trying to grab some more attention.

I find this very interesting. There are old threads on here alone that talk about him being a pedophile.Of course we have no idea if that is true or not,but I can imagine he would be 'Swift Boated' fairly easy by the Left over these accusations.

Now Ted,just go make another song like Wango Tango, and all will be forgiven.

Ted is a Republican. I will not vote for Republicans or Democrats. But man Ted is plumb crazy to kill things. No! NO! NO!

Uncle Ted does like his attention.

I remember back in the day Joe Walsh would say he's running for President, Bob Seger was his running mate.

Old School Comedian Pat Paulson ran in 68, 72, 80, 88, 92 and 96, on a mostly comedic platform..go figure

Ted the draft dodger? www.snopes.com...

Ted the pedophile? www.politicususa.com...

Search "Courtney Love Ted Nugent" and see what she has to say about their relationship when she was 12

I think old unkle Ted is desperately trying to stay relevant.

Isn't voting against a man strictly by party affiliation just as bad as voting FOR a man based on that alone? I mean, Ron Paul was a Republican, officially. I also supported and tried to help see him elected. No one's perfect. lol...

Besides, if someone isn't running in one of the two major parties, changes since Ross Perot mean that seeing an outsider ever make it to the General Ballot with more than a token spot for a joke run is almost impossible to see happen. So.....I guess you won't be voting in this nation, likely ever again by regulations today.

Anything is better then a life time politician. I would vote for any normal man or woman that was not involved in the current political structure we have in place now. It's not like they would make anything worse. We are already fishing in the bottom of the barrel to place them in office now.

The last time I checked there was another president named Theodore-- who
really liked hunting instead of just signtseeing. I'm almost sure in Africa, if
memory serves and a couple of times even while he was handling his day job.
Although a belt fed BAR would probably have been frowned on as dirty pool LOL.
Ahh the good old days of a hot rodded .350 Norma-- so you could drop a
Cape Buffalo in one shot. Or maybe a bull moose with a bad attitude.Couldn't help it.

Moreover that guy with the scratched up LesPaul eats everything he kills...
and sometimes wears nothing but the pelts playin' out ROFL. My kinda CEO.

Given, Ashley on your rather rad right impression.
Although in some respects the office could drag Teddy back from the ragged edge
he's been stoning off for 30-40 years... I've seen Pennsylvania Ave do it to more than Reagan.
There were a lot of moderates back in the 50's worried Ike was going to go Washingtonian.
But if he starts showing up wearing nothing but three piece suits after 5, all bets off.

During the last election, he said "If Barack Obama becomes the president in November, again, I will either be dead or in jail by this time next year. Why are you laughing? Do you think that's funny? That's not funny at all. I'm serious as a heart attack."

I hope he keeps that promise. He's an angry little bigot with obvious contempt for anybody not exactly like him. A nation ran by him would end in flames.
