There's nothing particularly strange about any organization moving records to more secure storage.

There's something peculiarly strange about anything the US government is doing in 2013.

Gotta agree:
Destroying records, 'moving them to the CIA'
The mafia style burial at sea.
No American has seen any proof what so ever of Bin Laden's death.
Just the 'word' of the administration.
The kicker 'The most transparent admin is Us history'.
What a joke.

And the death of SEAL team 6 members, flying in a commercial grade helicopter into a war zone.

They aren't destroying the information, it's being moved to the CIA for storage.

But, other than that, yea, this is a dirty move. FOIA should be allowed on this incident. I know that some doubt that Bin Laden has been killed as the administration said. No new audio or video recordings of Bin Laden have been released so it gives credence to the official statement.

If Bin Laden didn't die, Bin Laden would have released something fast to tell the world that he was still alive. Doing that would have broken all faith in the war on terror and shattered confidence in the USA.

But yes, it's a dirty move, there is something that doesn't sound right about the whole thing. One of the greatest victories in the war on terror is being hidden from public eyes.

My guess is that Bin Laden tried to surrender, but that wasn't going to happen because Bin Laden being captured would have led to an ICC trial where he may have implicated the United States in the 9/11 plan.

Really? You actually just said OBL would've said/done something if he wasn't dead then? He wasn't seen in a current video of any real length since 10/11. The few fleeting images that were purported to be him looked as much like him as they did John Travlota.

Why

OBL was killed in Tora Bora.

Why do you think it was all AUDIO tape after Tora Bora and not video tape? That guy loved the camera more than that bird faced tramp Paris Hilton, but after Tora Bora next to no images of him.

Never stuck you odd once how he just fell off the face of the Earth, Mr. Head of the Strongest Threat to the Free World Since the Red Menance himself was barely seen and the audio tape quality attributed to him made micro cassette tape answering machine OGMs seem pristine... never once thought on that?

How we jumped into Iraq within a few months of Tora Bora?

Just open your eyes.

What I find amusing about the story is how so many of my friends who are very much anti-Obama buy into the story, and consider him having rather redeemed himself by taking out OBL.

It shows how easily the public perception is manipulated and how gullible the american people are.
