I actually saw the pilot a couple of weeks ago in the TV/Appliance store I work at, he was a long time customer.

He said hehad just returned from Waikiki. I remember thinking, "he seems pretty stressed out and unhappy for a guy who just casually returned from Hawaii". But I don't know his journey, and his soul has moved on now.

Crazy, I was not expecting to see this story on ATS.

There's a lot of crazy stuff going on right now, I wonder what's next?

Really sad my heart goes out to the families. This is a pretty small town, I'm anxious to learn who the passengers were.

At least 80 injured as passenger train derails in southern Russia

rt.com...

Also, plane crashes more likely in Alaska due to terrain and frequency of small flights.

Alaska has already seen a several plane crashes this year, including a June 28 crash that killed a pilot and two passengers on a commercial tour in the Alaska Range.

Thoughts and prayers with the families.

Looks like the pilot was local, the other 9 were tourists heading out to a lodge. Those DeHav Otters are a bitch. I believe that was the same build of plane Senator Stevens was in when a crash took his life a few years back.
