Isn't there an Earthquake watch thread for this kind of thing?

It hit at a depth of 379 kilometres and no tsunami warning has been issued.

I hope people make a new thread for the ones of measure or note. I don't check the endless super thread supposed to catch all quakes for a year or whatever. It's good to see the breaking stuff highlighted to check more on when I get back to scan forum titles.

The quakewatch thread is good, when I catch a thread like this I usually go there to see what those guys are saying about it. Because it is an older thread, it doesn't jump up in new topics. I think it is a good place to go for particulars and to find trends that are occurring, but it contains a lot of facts and figures not really just chat. Having new specific threads does not seem the same as what they are doing.

I'm thinking there is something a brewing in that area over there, with the quakes in the old volcano I am starting to see a maybe.
