Summer is here, and my favourite, absolutely favourite part about it is that cherries are in season. I guess it's been awhile since I bought them though, because when I saw the $15 price tag I was all,
, and the immediate thought popped in my head...'The girl bagging my cherries has to work for an hour and a half if she were to buy them for herself.

Lying around popping cherries (popping them into your mouth) is one of my favourite parts of summer.

I vote for a subsidy on cherries so everyone can enjoy the experience.

I'm thinking it's by the pound and you picked up the largest bag...usually in the Northeast of the US I can pick up a back for around 8.00 bucks...but I usually break it down before buying..I love them but so expensive....

If you are a woman, that's hot.

If you are a man, that's disturbing.

That is way overprice! I wonder if in different counties and states food is priced differently. Because the store we go to has them way cheaper than $15.

I'm in BC so we got cherries by the butt-load....Well you know what I mean.

So many that they often lie on the ground waiting for birds and bears because the get over ripe with too many to pick in some areas.

Peace

Cherry is singular and cherries are plural.
Correct? Is there ways to spell this out?

Cat? This is Sylveon from Pokemon. The latest Eevee evolution form in the new games. I don't not a fan, but I thought the picture was cool. It would be cool to have a Pokemon that is design from cherries. Which Cherubi is a cherry. Crazy!

An internet meme was born.

Cherry Hat Cat say "I dont not a fan but I thought it was cool !"

You see he has cherries hanging off his sombrero.

"Now you're just sombrero that I used to know..."

Oo

i think the cold has gotten to my brain.

Me English is not the best when I'm typing like a crazed maniac. It must be all the cherries I have eaten.

I love cherries....around here...they range from $3.49 to 5.99 per pound.
The Ranier cherries...which can be much tastier...about a dollar more per pound.....

This year...however...they don't seem quite as flavorful

As nice as those cherries are they are a rip off IMHO why are basic fruits getting more expensive everywhere?

I was kinda shocked when my bag of cherries popped up at $9.00. I dare not come home without them however as my wife adores them. (as well as a couple bottles of wine)
Last grocery trip was $207.00 and it didn't even fill a small cart.
And they say inflation is only 3 -4%.

I'm about ready to jump on the EBT train.
