This is completly my fault and I apologise. I guess with all the flak going twards NK, well, thats where my thoughts were. If I make a mistake, I will admit it.

However, This doesnt change the fact that there is no diary in newsweeks hand. You show me where they have the diary and this is truly in it and I will apologise for that and accept it as well.

I still believe the title to the thread is misleading because one is led to believe that he met with Alqueda by the accusation in the title. The simple fact is, when you say terrorist, the majority of the world thinks of Alquada. BlackJackel knows this and I suspect he is pro Bush and is just beating a dead dog with his statements.

Think about this. Even if Kerry did meet with members of the Vietcong, you have no idea what it was about. How would you feel if he was trying to bring home some more remains of our soldiers that are still in the VC's posession? Changes alot doesnt it.

One other thing. Kerry met with the VC.....supposedly. Well, Bush had BUSINESS DEALINGS with the BINLADENS! He made his first million from terrorist money. He continues to support Saudi Arabia, whos treatment of women is deplorable. Oh, SA also supplied almost ALL of the hijackers in 9/11. Now you tell me who deals with terrorist.

Newsweek not Newsmax, this is a MSM outlet. By the way, it's illeagle for a private citizen, or military member, to perform any diplomatic efforts on there own.

Jesse Jackson does it all the time.

And he's a philanderer, an extortionist, and just an all around bad guy (just ask his wife or girlfriend), we'll add this to the list of grievances.

Not to mention the Democrats are increasing their distance from the former shining star... Doctor King he's not.

I dont like him anymore that you do, but I was using him as an example that not just diplomats try to broker deals.

terrorists or not.... if this story was out there and Bush's name was in ANY way attached to it - you know Rather, et all, would've been all over it

the premise remains valid IMO - if this had been leaked by the MSM prior to Nov 3rd, it would have killed ANY chance Kerry might've had

How does the title Newsweek: Kerry met with 'Terrorists' in Paris lead anyone to think the terrorists he met with was Al Queda? There are literally hundreds of terrorist organizations and millions of terrorists. In Kerry's own words he met with 'terrorists' in Paris.

BTW last time I checked Newsweek was more of a liberal publication that a conservative one so what agenda are they pushing by publishing this article?

I thought the reason why Kerry met with people in Vietnam was to broker a deal to release captured US prisioners of war that hadnt been released yet? (the Viet government gave him written assurance that they had no US prisioners)

Oh, I do agree with you. How interesting it came out after Kerry lost. Hard to believe the whole thing was researched and written after the election...
I wonder what they would have come up with had the election gone the other way.
