Can someone please help me ! ?

I keep getting logged out of the ATS site and I don't know why.

I ran a cleaner program on my computer this morning, could this be causing an issue ?

Thx
leolady

leo was just in the chat room explaining the problem to us. Sounds like she's getting logged out multiple times spontaneously.

She's not getting any timeout pages or error messages or anything. Apparently the pc is just logging her out and taking her back to the ATS log in page.

Hope these additional details can help provide an answer.

The first thing to do would be to:

1) Clear cookies
2) Clear history
3) Clear cache
4) Log out of ATS manually and deliberately
5) Close browser
6) Restart browser
7) Log back into ATS.

If that does not work repeat steps but this time reboot computer before steps 6 and 7.

Ok I will try these things after I learn how to do them...

Looks like I'm going to have to play around some trying to learn how to do this stuff you mention. Ooh this scares me. I know I'm awful...

1) Clear cookies
2) Clear history
3) Clear cache

Atleast I can say for certainty that I do know how to do these things..lol
I did them over and over again this morning... no practice or learning issues here... I do these tasks daily... lol

4) Log out of ATS manually and deliberately
5) Close browser
6) Restart browser
7) Log back into ATS.

Thank You Heff I promise I will make an honest effort in learning 1, 2 and 3

Thx

I am using Internet Explorer

the reason..wait... wait... wait... for it... I promise its a good reason... lol

I tried Google when I first got the computer but it would not allow me to listen to the shows so that was a no go... & I'm certain its just that I can't seem to figure it out. So I've stuck with Explorer b/c I can't go without.

I Thank you kindly

OK! I've not used IE in quite awhile, so please give me a minute to load it and check the menus. I'll be back shortly.

Got it!

To the right side of the browser there should be a horizontal menu that has a few pictographs and then will say "page.... safety... tools".

Click on tools, scroll down and select "internet options"

That will bring up a window that has a few fields. The top one will say "Home page" and the next will say "Browsing history". There will be two buttons in that field "delete" and "settings".

Click delete.

This will bring up another pop-up window. Make sure that all of the fields listed have check marks in the boxes and then click the "delete" button in that window. that will bring up a small box that will show your progress.

Simply click on delete. It will likely take a minute or two to complete the task and your browser might slow or freeze while it is working. This is normal and nothing to be worried about. Once the progress window closes by itself, simply X out of the browser and reboot.

Ok done... I hope this works... & that wasn't too hard... I will have to try to remember to do this weekly so that I retain how to do it.

If I have any more issues... I will come back... and ask for more help !

Thanks a bunch :-)

If the problem continues try plugging the laptop into the router with an ethernet cable and see if it makes any difference.
