Hello ATS Community!

I'm excited to share this tracer image of a classic orange orb type UFO that was snapped by my awesome girlfriend, just as the object took a 90 degree turn and disappeared!

It figures that It happens on the 4th of July, and I also was not there to see it first hand...

I want to just ramble on and on because I Love this subject so much.

Instead of rambling I am going to supply the raw image as well as one that I had enhanced the best I could using the free tool called Phixr.

I'd love to answer any questions that may arise. Any image experts here?

You may want to upload the original, unedited image my friend.

Proper analysis is useless without it.

The first one is what I had saved from my email. I'd love to be able to provide the camera data when my girlfriend wakes up. I have zero image data knowledge but would love to get to the bottom of this! This was in Eugene, Oregon btw, forgot to mention lol

The shutter speed is 1/4, which is why the object appears to be streaking.

Are you sure your friend's hand wasn't what was moving?

It is certainly possible that there was some shaking. I've seen the same type of object behave like that before, though. They seem to cover a wide spectrum of the amber/orange type colors and usually move slowly before zipping off.

No worries, it's in the exif data that alpha hawk provided, I wanted to know because at a speed of a 1/4th of a second you would need to have an incredibly steady hand or a tripod otherwise a stationary object can appear to be streaking across the sky in a photo. I have been debating with a local UFO group about this for a few weeks until they banned me.

I can't give you any analysis of the image apart from 4th of July + Orange Orb = I think you can guess what comes next

The Digital Camera FinePix S4250 is a 14mp camera yet this iamge is 640 x 480. thats not 14mp.

Does the Digital Camera FinePix S4250 have a setting for 640 x 480?

The shutter speed is 1/4 of a second.

The two line seem to be at 90 degrees from each other but there is a definate curve. So this isnt a 90 degree turn or anything special in terms of a flight path. Essecially as we dont know the 3d rotation relative to the camera.

Firework maybe?

Apparently the finepix camera does have such a setting.

Not sure why one would want to use such a low quality though.
