Disappearing Pics.

I have download several pics from other sites that I wanted to share in a post, but when I go to upload them they are nowhere to be found... not even in the download file. Anyone have any idea what's going on?

I recently changed from firefox search, to google chrome search. I didn't like the Bing search.
I have window XP, and use Mozilla Firefox browser.

Actually, I just found a few of them in the Windows Picture and Fax viewer. Why are they not going into my pic file, as I have it for the destination?

possibly you have just one format going to the specified folder, and other formats are going to another folder?
you would have to tell the computer where to put each type of file or it will put them in 'downloads' usually.
i set up my downloads so i have to choose every time.
