after reading some replys and topics by some people
i came to see that alot of people are islamaphobic

the reason i came to this because alot of people seem to blame the whole minority not just the the few that are causing the problems

Bad people are in every country/place/race/religion/color/sex/yadda - it doen't care where.

I don't care "what" someone is - it's the "who" that person is of themself that I look for.

Why don't we have a Forum to discuss the difficult issues that place Islam in opposition to American Laws and culture:

1. Female genital mutilation;
2. Oppression of women that requires them to dress like bags of laundry;
3. Sexual exploitation of young boys by older men;
4. Harsh judicial practices: cutting off the hands of a thief.
5. History and dubious distinctions enjoyed by Mohammed himself.

And also, let's deal with the elements we have in common:

1. Scriptural history in common.
2. Laws in common.
3. The Islamic practice of personal hospitality versus American commercialistic "hospitality INDUSTRY."
4. The issue of Obedience Vs. Autonomy, much as it plays out among Catholics and Anglicans in the Christian Domain.

I think we have a great deal to talk about, to at least come to common understand of where we disagree.

That's the point at which we can start praying for a diminution of the differences, for mutual forgiveness, and for the strength to resist all pressure to corrupt and compromise Justice and Fairness with Elitism, Jingoism, croney-ism and Federalism.

There was info quoted out of the Quran that was totally inaccurate. It wasnt even close. It was used as propaganda to back up the US invasion in Iraq.

Most of the action seems to be coming from Islamic and or Arab based one......I recognise it the same way I used to get pissed off about Irish or Spanish or any freakin ethnic home grown terrorist groups.

Neither is Christianity Mate......I heard and seen some very un-christian acts done in the name of it.

It's just some we have managed to get ourselves somewhere near the top of the relatively well fed food chain over the rest of them.

How does it contradict itself? Muhammad was a war criminal. He had opponents assasinated, entire tribes of Jews massacred, raped women, sold survivors (usually just women and children--the men were killed) into slavery, plundered their wealth and made himself considerably rich from it.

Bukhari's the most widely recognized sound (sahih) hadith. Very bloody. Very immoral (Muhammad marries a 6 year old girl and consummates the marriage at 9)
