There have been at least 101 sexual assaults on women in the past four days while Human Rights Watch (HRW) has called on Egyptian authorities to address a "climate of impunity".

Seems whenever the Muslims fail to impose there phallocentric rule, they resort to the Neanderthal behaviour that's fast-becoming a hallmark of these people[¹]. After the shocking Lara Logan incident last time around, you'd have thought the Egyptian police and self proclaimed "protectors of the people" military would have clamped down on these base misogynistic methods of silencing anti-Islamist protestation; if for nothing else, then to demonstrate to the world that the country isn't another lost cause, Middle-East cesspool.

There's no more damning a condemnation of Islamic rule than that of the repression of women. This is why Islamic governments cannot exist in a modern society- it gives license to the lowest common denominator to live out their Dystopian fantasies.

Disgusting sub-animals.

Speaking about the repression of women... it can be found a little closer to home, as well.

Just sayin'.

Just a bit more information.

Officials' discourse about the attacks is also a source of the problem, Human Rights Watch said.

In February 2012, lawmakers blamed women for the mob assaults in Tahrir.

"Women contribute 100 percent in their rape because they put themselves in such circumstances," General Adel Afifi said.

I wonder were all the Muslim apologists are today? Maybe moderate Muslims should finally get there house together and take out the trash it is starting to stink.

If moderate Muslims don't start standing up across the world against this type of crap they are in fact also part of the problem. It is time they reclaim this so called faith of tolerance and compassion. This can only be fixed from the inside out.

Well they are running like rats now. here is a quote from Business Insider:

Egyptian police have issued arrest orders against 300 leaders and members of former President Morsi's Muslim Brotherhood, AFP reports. MENA, the state news agency, reported police were arresting Morsi allies "who are accused of inciting violence and disturbing general security and peace".

Two prominent members close to Morsi have already been detained, including the head of the Freedom and Justice Party — the Muslim Brotherhood's political arm, and the deputy head of the Islamist movement, according to Ahram Online.

El-Ahram also reported on preparations to clear a rally of Morsi supporters near Cairo University. In the wake of the president's ouster, forces deployed across the country to seize control from pro-Morsi loyalists, and the military surrounded the Republican Guard barracks where Morsi was staying with barbed wire and troops.

So where are all the good *fill in the blank* standing up against the crap being committed by their kind? I guess they are part of the problem too.

Oh yeah, and lets not forget about the rapes in the US military, as pointed out by another poster. Does it make those people[¹] "disgusting sub-animals" too?
Of course, a thread on rapes committed by US soldiers wouldn't be as exciting as a thread on rapes committed by Egyptians. So lets sweep American military rapes under the carpet and turn the floodlights on the Egyptian ones.
