I'm tired of useless political bickering. Let's bring it back to brass tacks, shall we?

THE HECLA STREET MANIFESTO

We believe in the golden rule: Do unto others as you would have done to you. Do what you will an’ it harm none. Pretty simple. Don’t hurt other people.

We believe that corporations are not people. Because they aren’t. People. Duh.

We believe that water is a basic right that cannot be bought or sold. By anyone. Ever.

We believe that every living person should know how to, and be able to, provide themselves with food. Through growing, harvesting, and/or hunting. So long as they do not violate rule one. Refer back to rule 2 for clarification on what a person is.

We believe that children, animals, and the mentally impaired are not consenting adults. Therefore you cannot do whatever you want with them. They deserve our protection. Not up for debate.

We believe “children” are live children that can live outside the mother’s womb. Anything that cannot maintain life outside the mother’s womb is not a life. This is a fact.

We believe if you own a gun you must be willing and able to kill something. That’s what guns were made for. Kill it. Eat it. Or bury it. Or don’t own a gun.

We believe consenting adults should be able to live the way they want. Every person has something they do that someone else thinks is “weird.” Who are you to judge?

We believe in helping hands. We don’t believe in handouts. If you fall on hard times times we want to give you the same boost we would ask for. We’re not gonna carry your ass. Period.

We believe that children should not pay for the mistakes of their parents. Children deserve a chance, no matter their origin.

We believe that birth control is a fundamental right, which benefits all of humanity. Unwanted children are a strain on everyone. We know how reproduction happens - and how to prevent it. There is no excuse for ignorance.

We believe everyone deserves a second chance. Maybe a third. But by the fourth time we think you need to visit the school of hard knocks. And we’re happy to drive you there.

We believe the United States is a land of opportunity. A melting pot. For many different people with many different beliefs. We have no creed, no one type of person, no religion.

“E Pluribus Unum - Out of many, One.”

It's painfully obvious you didn't put a whole lot of thought into your little list did you?

We believe that water is a basic right that cannot be bought or sold. By anyone. Ever.

So sewer and and all water services are free? And um who pays for all that?

We believe that every living person should know how to, and be able to, provide themselves with food. Through growing, harvesting, and/or hunting. So long as they do not violate rule one. Refer back to rule 2 for clarification on what a person is.

I really don't care what you "think" I should know how do to and not do.

We believe that children, animals, and the mentally impaired are not consenting adults. Therefore you cannot do whatever you want with them. They deserve our protection. Not up for debate.

Animals have to be protected huh, well so much for hunting and eating.

We believe if you own a gun you must be willing and able to kill something. That’s what guns were made for. Kill it. Eat it. Or bury it. Or don’t own a gun.

Well since according to you I cant shoot anyone or any animals what the hell am I going to do with it? Oh and again it's none of your business what I do with any firearms I might own.

We believe that birth control is a fundamental right, which benefits all of humanity. Unwanted children are a strain on everyone. We know how reproduction happens - and how to prevent it. There is no excuse for ignorance.

The only 100% fool proof birth control is not having sex unless you are trying to reproduce, THAT is free and cost me nothing, anything else you want YOU pay for. If you can't control your animal instincts too bad.

I think you need to work on your "rules" for everyone before posting a contradictory list. Good luck.

You're just being pissy. As expected.

What I don't know is: why are you so pissed? What did I say that was so contentious?

No I pointed out a few flaws in your post and you have no argument or retort so you called me a name. I was going to ignore your post after reading it but I get tired of people thinking they know better than everyone else and come up with great rules for everybody.

Why don't you worry about you and leave everyone else alone.

What flaws? The order of the points?

There are no rules here. There are only principles. I you find them offensive, please, debate me.

Water = basic human right. Somehow you went for sewer system. I don't agree with our "modern" sewer system but anyway I was talking about drinking water. People used to crap in holes. Still could. Corporations are buying our water rights. That's a fact.

I don't understand why this comment offends you. Why is being able to obtain your own food so offensive?

I was speaking about animals in a consenting adult context - for all the people who want to say that now they can marry their sheep because DOMA got overturned. Apologies for not being more specific with my context. I thought I covered that earlier.

If you have a gun fer fek's sake shot to kill.

Yes, don't EVER have sex unless you know you want to make a baby.

I think we covered everything. Did I miss something?

OK this is my last post in your thread and I'll leave you to it.

Water = basic human right. Somehow you went for sewer system. I don't agree with our "modern" sewer system but anyway I was talking about drinking water. People used to crap in holes. Still could.

Well since you need water for a functioning sewer system I included it. You don't "agree" with modern plumbing and people should "crap in holes". That statement is why I'm departing this thread. It is so asinine that I have to point out to you what would happen if say NYC was told to "crap in a hole" because you don't "agree" with sewer systems.

I am grateful for one thing, no one in any type of authority position would entertain any of your ideas in your list and you still are missing the point. It's none of your business what anyone does or doesn't do, stop being a wanna be fascist.

interesting .. though life begins at the moment of inception when the child is concieved in the womb .. not after the child is born ..

babies in the womb do react to and learn from outside stimuli i.e talking to them .. playing music for them even touch ..

as to the "rules" .. never happen too many with their own agendas .. too divided among the people and too many wanna be bosses who havent a clue as to what a true leader is .. me am an anarchist with neither a need nor use for leaders of any type its my life I live it on my terms not the terms of others ..

Getting confused... a manifesto is not a set of "rules". Why do I keep seeing rules mentioned when I never mentioned rules?

Your problem is I used I used the word Manifesto. O. M. G.

I'm a goddam commie/socialist/and/or fascist. Pick your adjective. Then you can shut down your mind sufficiently by a word you don't understand.

A better response would be posting what YOU believe. At least I put my stake in the ground. Give me YOUR moral code to debate. Pooping all over my manifesto is a pussy response. Offer yours in response. AKA put up of shut up.
