The human input we have are the 5 sensors : touch, hear, see, taste, smell. Without these we do not produce emotions. Will AI ever be able to mirror the 5 senses? Will AI ever think for itself.

We build AI and it will always have some restriction on the way it thinks. It will always be influenced. If an AI could mirror the 5 sensors, will it still think with as much freedom as others. Can it make an opinion that is unbiased? How far is freedom to think?

Can AI invent its own personality?

Time is an important thing for humans. From the day we are born, the whole world influences us. Would AI need an age restriction or time restriction.

If an AI robot had all the features possible of a human being, is it a human being?

Just some questions I got.

Here's a big help to your questions...............read the book

Age of spiritual machines by Ray Kurzweil

That book addresses all your questions plus many more.........very interesting..............He is confident within the next 50 to 70yrs the barrier between human and machine will have overlapped to the point where we will not be able to tell the difference.....

You will love it if you are into computers "thinking"

I was totally blown away by the information contained in it... its pretty cool... I hope I live to be able to see all the advances theorized in the book!

There are people that do not have the 5 senses.

Do you mean that these people do not produce emotions?

AI wont be human

it will be a new species in a sense

100% android

Some humans may add cybernetic features to themselves
but hopefully it wont become another breast-implant type thing.

cyber additions should be based on practicality and need
not on cosmetics...lol

AI can be fully as intelligent as humans , even more so
it can have personality created by randomness

humans have personality created by randomness

humans think based on what 'influenced' them

the AI will be just like us in every way
cept the fact im created thru Sex between 2 humans 'flesh an bone

and the AI will be created thru manufacture of materials
'droids

plus the AI will have more sensory abilitys than any human ever could

the AI can sense Optical, Tactile, Smell, Taste, Audio,
they can even sense anything else our nifty sensors can pick up

any form of light, x-ray gammaray ultraviolet microwave etc etc

they can detect radiation levels
or even tell you what chemicals or bacterias virus are in the air

they can tell you exactly what something is made of by scanning it

they can do anything we can create it to do
lol
unlimited possibilitys

machines think in terms of 0s and 1s, we don't, that is a culture difference.

We do not even know what we mean by "inteligence" so we do not know how to separate the natural from the artificial.
