A 'Virtual' Heterosexual Pride Parade.

Some of you need to lighten up....seriously. I see nothing in this post that speaks hate towards gays so get a grip.

OP I don't understand what you mean by virtual but when it comes to joining a heterosexual parade in real time on a real street i'd be down. I think....no I know many heterosexuals and heterosexual families would happily walk in one.

There is nothing wrong with being gay, if that's who you are than that's who you are. But there is nothing wrong with being straight either. Frankly i'm tired of people acting like there is something wrong with being proud to be straight.

its funny, this thread breaks multiple T&C conditions on this site. Kinda surprised its still up. Wont last much longer, though.

The thing is, being hetrosexual is not outlawed anywhere in the world.

Being gay is.

So gay pride marches are a celebration of living in a tolerant and multi-orientated society, without fear of being targeted or victimised by the unwell.

Wow just wow. You dropped the homophobe card, much like the race card. Unfreaking believable. If gay people are allowed to dress up and ride floats and flaunt their sexuality, then why can't straight people? Calling the kettle black...

In my personal experience the only people who feel the need to take the time to express to others how heterosexual they are are people who are more than a leeeetle bit in the closet about their sexuality and perhaps really not quite as straight as they like to try and convince themselves.

With all due respect, that sounds like nonsense. The same logic can be applied to those in the gay parade. They;re really not as gay as they like to think.

Wow, I'm mildly surprised that my silly little thread garnered so many replies.

My sincere apology to those that I offended for that was not my intent. This was meant as a light hearted thread not an attack on any group.

realistically the main difference between the gay/straight parades would be about one word on the song they'd sing

This thread adopts the same attitude as my male friend - sick of women's lib, super women, and men being depicted as idiots in sit coms and adverts he is a strong advocate of men's lib. Sometimes I even agree with him - but only after he's made my tea.
