it's a coincidence, with that in mind though I am going to run to the patent office with this lol

Imagine you are watching TV and it is streaming and when you walk away it either turns up the volume or stops until you return and then resumes the commercial. That is going to suck. They already have this on the Galaxy s4 phone so how long until it in your set top box?

Yes they can manipulate local programming (regional news etc) but not down to individual connections. Do an experiment phone a local friend get him to watch the same channel and see if the ad`s are the same

but they are watching you checking your emails / phone / mail .

but no i do not think they are beaming adverts direct to you

The technology has already been invented with streaming. TV stations don't run on the same technology (yet, they are switching over though with things like Uverse).
