It seems a british woman married a dolphin in 2005. lol. It was sealed with a mackerel.

Cindy gained fame after marrying Sharon Tendler, a 41-year-old Jewish millionaire from London in December 2005. Tendler wore a white dress and placed flowers on her head.

A touching ceremony.

Cindy, escorted by his fellow best-men dolphins, swam over to Tendler and she hugged him, whispered sweet nothings in his ear, and kissed him in front of the cheering crowd.

Quote from the blushing bride.

"I'm the happiest girl on earth," the bride said as she chocked back tears of emotion. "I made a dream come true, and I am not a pervert," she stressed.

Alas, he left her a widow a year later after an unexpected illness.

And if you think Trans-gender equality is a thing today, just wait until the trans-order crowd get popularity (yes they already exist). I was born looking like a man but truth be told, inside im really a dog- and you have to accept that or you are a bigot. Does that sound silly? Sure it does, but its true and its only a matter of time now.

Dear bigfatfurrytexan,

Since this is now in public, I have to be fair to the Mods. I was upset when my thread was deleted, and I engaged in a "passionate" discussion with the enforcing Mod via U2U. I'm afraid my language was not polite at all.

I don't want to be seen as being critical of anyone in Administration, and I'm sure I was at fault. They have tough jobs, and they're the ones with the responsibility to make the calls. But "The burnt child fears the spilt milk," or something like that.

With respect,
Charles1952

I hope it happens soon, I have always wanted to have more than one husband.....

Why on earth anyone would want more than one spouse in our culture (besides the obvious potential financial benefits) is beyond me. The potential for in-fighting seems to far outweigh any real benefits in my mind.

If they could get along, it would be great! I just love people, and could easily see myself living in partnership with more than one. There is a lot of potential benefit, practically speaking. When it comes to the various aspects of keeping a home and children, we'd be more numerous to handle it. In times when one needs emotional support, you'd have a couple of people giving it to you.

The discussions at night might be more interesting, with different points of view. Plus, I just really love people in general, and having two very different men to touch and experience and love sounds like it would be wonderful!

That said, as long as my husband is not okay with it and neither is my society, I am a very fidel and monogamous wife.

I would love having a few wives as long as I had all of their agreement that they would not bother me with their complaints about it. Think about the diners you would get

Another researcher, Dr. Christopher Ryan, has said that humans are actually more designed for group-living situations than the so-called "nuclear family" model. Check online his discussion "If you want fidelity get a dog" where he presents an evolutionary psychologist's point of view on this.

In reality, polygamy actually seems to fit the economy that is developing.

I am not sure how I feel about this. I would never want to share my wife. Nope. That's just how I feel. I know a lot of people are open to that sort of thing, so its certainly personal preference, but I don't know how I'd feel either if my wife wanted me to go marry another. It'd be awesome in theory, and at first glance, but that I think would depreciate the value in the relationship that we had beforehand. just my two cents.

Polygamy should be illegal. Any country that legalizes it will experience a revolution in a couple generations. If some men can have 2 women that leave some men who cannot marry, have children, or do any of the things that prevent revolutions. They will become discontent and will rebel. You cannot restrict the supply of women like that and not have social unrest.

Those laws are there for a reason. No need to go changing them until human nature changes.

Here an anthropologist who has done extensive field-research on modern polygamists explains why polygamy can actually empower women:

www.youtube.com...

So what if a man wants two wives and the two wives want the man? Why must they be limited? Laws today will have to be re-written due to new reproductive techniques heading our way so I am sure any issues relating to family law and immigration could easily be resolved as well.

So saying two men or two women can marry and not two women and one man? How can we justify that?

Seems a federal judge in Utah has brought this issue back into public attention.
