It has become quite clear to me over the years that what matters most in the long run is what is going on inside of your being - it's all about the
inner work baby! (most people don't seem to realize that until they are well on their way out the exit door
So maybe sometimes you need a little jolt of something that can be translated as negative in order to trigger some inner fear or something that will
benefit you to look at and deal with. Other times maybe you need to bask in a positive-only universe for a while and really identify with your most
powerful awesome multidimensional limitless self.
I think this is why it is most important to * KNOW THYSELF * because the more intimately familiar we are with our own inner workings, the quicker and
easier we can discern whether or not we want to spend time with any particular information. After enough practice, it can become a much smoother
flow... wherein you can accept or reject something almost instantly simply by how your inner being reacts to it - and you can do that because you know
yourself THAT well.
If we try too much of this too soon - thinking we know ourselves when really we are just fooling ourselves - it becomes obvious because impulsive
"intuitive" reactions will just lead to trouble and more trouble. That just means .... more inner exploration is necessary.
Some are likely gifted in this area, they have been at it so long while others are completely cut off from any self-understanding whatsoever. You can
kind of tell by how people treat others and how they handle stress. Well, there are numerous ways to discern this I suppose and I am in no way perfect
in this arena - I have simply been at the 'inner work' long enough to recognize how much better/easier the flow gets - and the discernment - when my
inner being has been nurtured and is being paid attention to. You know, right brain stuff, meditation, reflection, quiet time, nature walks, art, etc.
etc etc. - the activities of one's true essence.
Good for you for questioning, seeking, wondering and exploring. Good for you for having an open and curious mind. Your journey sparks inspiration in
others - simply by your asking questions and being honest about your experiences and thoughts. I much prefer questions and sharing of experiences to
petty attacks and ego posturing. Not everyone feels the same way and I am okay with that for now
Still happy to add my voice to the mix.
