Can Forums Be Like Chat Rooms

Thought for the day... Is it possible, and what would the story be for a planet to orbit two stars? As in, as one sun sets another one rises... I don't even know if its possible

What's stopping you from getting married? Because it isn't "legally recognized"? Big deal. You can still make someone your beneficiary or medical decider, etc. There are many ways to still get most of the same "benefits" of a legally married couple.

Get rings, have a ceremony, etc. Commit to each other, no government can stop that.

As for the alien life thing.

You can't prove alien life DOESN'T exist. For starters, can't prove a negative. For the finale', you'd have to confirm EVERY celestial object and space itself is devoid of life.

Until we get better means of propulsion, we can't prove it DOES exist either.

A planet could certainly orbit two stars....though for how long? Thinking of a particular one? (Zeti Reticuli, perhaps?)
