You may be surprised by my feelings on this, given how I am on other things ...but I think the shock and profound pause to everything on 9/11 opened a very brief window where we actually could have seen world peace and what you suggest there. A fundamental change in direction. The public chose poorly and went with fear instead of inspiration but then they've been trained that way too. We all have.

If the U.N. Security Council Members formed a unified Military Command, you would see a force with no enemies worthy to fight to make war among themselves pointless and with global reach and tech to literally stop any smaller war in it's formative tracks (not fuel it and watch it like a bad movie for amusement), regardless of ideology or source. The balance of national ideology between the 5 would assure balance to that anyway.

For a short short time...I think the public could have demanded and seen something like that take some form...but alas, it's gone again like a ray of moonlight in the forest.

UN to have a force to impose peace and to stop wars

good one now who would benefit from that? not the worlds leaders nor their MIC, can not have that now can we, as long as there is land, power, and riches to be made, war will rule out above all other thoughts, USSR fell not by war of blood shed but of power, China vs US will be a war of blood shed, for the war of riches is a losing one on the US side.

I did mention... short window right? I had said....shock and profound impact on the public, yes? There are VERY brief moments that come perhaps once in a generation...maybe one in several...where things can change so greatly and so quickly as to defy belief...if events just get a shove the right direction at the right moment.

The world saw it not 25 years ago. The Soviet Empire which controlled about half the world by alignment, if not outright force vs. the roughly half (not including non-aligned nations) our side controlled just crumbled and vanished in a way that seemed so surreal as to be impossible. I watch people in video now on top of the Berlin Wall and recall the literal shock people were in while watching that live and expecting at any time to hear gunfire to blow those people right off the wall. It happened for a few decades with people who were where they went that first night.

Hope that we may live another such moment that goes the right way, as that one did, is what makes the day to day efforts for changing things worth doing.

It seems like materialism is the main cause of war.

I've always said that war is always about resources. Ideology/Religion are just one of the factors used to get the populace in line with the PTB's plan.

History has proven this.

You are right, Ideology and Religion are tools. Belief in a good supreme being is not bad. Belief in beings, angels, that look over us and steer us is not bad. Using church as a place of gathering to express and reinforce your beliefs is not bad. In reality though, there is none good but god.

Laws that are made to govern our societies are not bad unless they give some people more rights than others. Being civil and respecting the rights of others is critical, the laws must be made to be simple so that even the most unintelligent person can understand. Laws like "Though shall not kill" or "though shall not steal" are simple laws yet it seems that the system in this country runs circles around them. Let the buyer beware is anything but a good practice, it allows someone to trick another out of his money, which is actually stealing. For the good of the people has also been misused, people who are conservative most often get screwed because the risk takers are running our society here in America. The system that has been created to run this country is far from close to the teachings of Jesus. I think Christians fail to see that. In this country you can rarely get a straight answer from a politician, they are trained to skirt the truth. Even the honest politicians are afraid of telling the truth because from then on they will be blackballed and nothing will be alotted to the people that elected them. It is a viscious cycle.

I do not know how I got so far off topic, saying things that most people on this site already know. The mods can remove this post if it is too off topic, I'm used to the little PMs from them, it is really the only communication I have with the mods

After the foreign policy blunders and the inability to lead our administration has experienced I fear the time is ripe to awaken to a foreign country or entity testing the USA's resolve and ability to function without splintering. I think the conflict brewing in asia over said islands and other disputed islands in asia will come to a boil as a test to see how the US responds. When it takes a year for our administration to issue a red line and fail to act on it. North Korea will know its ok to invade South Korea. The middle eastern countries will know its ok to blitz Israel. When it begins it will happen fast before the american people have time to put in an administration with tact in dealing with crysis.

In addition, you will know its being tested when russia and venezualla begin setting up shop in Cuba again.

The moment US renege on its treaty on one of its allies like Japan, what do you think will happen to all its other allies, just sit back and watch? Of course they will automatically assume the US is not a reliable ally and would re-align themselves you may as well give up on your being an american once China and Russia carves the continental states.

How strange that the treasonous politicians in the US are selling the USA off to china piece-meal - and then having war games to defend against an "invasion".

The USA is going down, and that's what the politicians/ and their puppet masters want.

Waste money by supplying terrorists overseas, and spread our military all over the world.

Anybody who thinks the UN is anything but a corporate ring leader is an idiot.

The UN is gung-ho on world depopulation - through vaccines, GMO food, WW3, or any other way they can do it.

If China already owns it, americans better starts learning mandarin now and i don't think they want to destroy it, they just want to take it and make all the american as slave laborers same way as they do to their people.

OTOH, i think it's good though, lots of american has gotten fat and lazy.

Is it really so shocking that the military trains for what they consider plausible scenarios?

A couple of years ago they held an exercise that was effectively a dress rehearsal for an invasion of Iran. Nothing has come if that yet.

The islands are a flashpoint but the Chinese are already screwing the japanese in a more subtle way. The Chinese market for Japanese goods has dried up due to their historic hatred of the Japanese stirring up again. Amongst their other economic woes Japan cant afford it.

The area remains a bone of contention but the fact of the exercise doesn't make conflict more likely. If anything it makes it less likely as its a reminder to China that Japan is not standing alone.

do a little digging you will see Gorbe "caved in" by Regan's ray gun er star wars program, you do know that in the months before, Gorbe and Regan where in the west desert of Utah to see star wars in action atomicarchive.com... yes I know it is called SDI, [but star wars is so much cooler to post,] the real reason the wall came down, and why China is the new threat [not that is welcomed, but is fact for all wars now and future wars and pre planed by design] China is the new red menace for the west to build up MIC and new Techs to defeat it, when China relies on people we the US will rely on Drones and robots to fight this new war. why do you war looks like a video game now, in the near future it will be just that a sit at home war game, for real.

Think about this on a scale about 100-1000 times larger now.....What would you do?

I would walk in and take some of those nifty toys, $50k diesel truck, his toy-hauler, quads, fishing boat, wave runners, his wife's stupid knick-knack collections, his $6k zero turn, his harley that get polished and taken to the casino once a month, etc..

america has ASSETS, they arent gonna wait.

HUGE male population with nothing to do, and anger over how we screwed them in the 'opium wars',
vs
a huge aging population of over confident and weak baby boomers and their emo-skinny jeans-eyeliner sons.

i am having trouble believing this op.
the guys at the top are all buddies.
for example

now if that video is true, that means the entire idea of the cold war was a farce, which means this concept of the us and japan vs china, is not what it looks like. just guessing, however, based on the contents of the video in this post.

WOW! just watched it..

this is what HORRIFIES me, the bolsheviks only needed 10,000 people?!?!

just WOW...

if the russians in power now, are those who HATED the bolsheviks, UH-OH!! we are in real trouble,

I remember that a soviet soldier who guarded some high up dude pre-collapse, and then was a legionnaire.

he said.. condensing here" the soviets were different in the end, whole new mindset last 15 yrs, starting late 70's. People who Hated what had been done to there country over the last 80 yrs (this was in 2000). And this is the KICKER.... the USSR did not "fall" per se.. rather went 'underground'. money got cpncentrated into the hands that spawned the whole 'fall' charade.

my comparison... world wide, due to aging populations combined with lower birth rates (the govt goodies train DOUBLE WHAMMY).. so, in order to "shrug off" the 'mooches' and streamline things. they were ahead of that ball..

just imagine how much money/wealth/resources woulda been "saved" and put into the "right areas" since before the dotcom crash.. REMEBER ALL THAT WEALTH AND PROSPERITY?? I do.

think if all that wealth had been funneled into things such as technology, advanced weapons, tons of offshore accts, black funding, black ops, etc..

what if russia has been doing just that.. they see the world going to a future (which is now, was future 20yr ago) and...uh-oh

plus we have a Rx drug riddled 10 tour war vet, disenfranchised youths not joining military, worn out war equipment infested with chinese backdoor hacks.

I heard this statement back in the eighties, except back then it was Japan.
It didn't turn out to such a good investment for them.

So they started to build plants here rather than just buying things. But they are still recovering from their spending spree.

We're starting to see China now investing in productive capacity in the US. Same game, different name.

I guess we'll see how that goes for them. I wonder if they have learned the lessons of the past.
