Ill be tuning in and listening. I've checked out some of the youtube videos and have to say they are great.

My sons have been trying to talk me into doing some survival instruction videos and putting them on youtube and I am really thinking about doing so in the very near future. Just have to get some things in order first so I can concentrate on doing them.

Anywho, I was really impressed with what I've seen on youtube and look forward to hearing you guys tonight.

I cant reply or tune in to the show cause I don't have a mic for Skype but you can get saltpeter from evaporating urine with manure or wood ash.

make your own sports drink to replace lost electrolytes. Add 1/4 tsp. salt, 1/4 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 cup orange juice, 2 tbsp. sugar and mix with 1 liter of water. Don't skip any of the ingredients--the orange juice may seem like too much sugar but it actually replaces lost potassium.

Make your own electrolyte replacement!!!

Hey thanks for that link Bear, Im gonna have to look into building one of those. We built a decent sized smokehouse last fall and have put it to good use for our meats and fish but its not much use for veggies.

A smokehouse....that's what I need to add to the projects list...
