Very well said my friend.
The problem in America today is people think that they are guaranteed, entitled, or have a right to happiness. That simply is not true, we are only
guaranteed the right to the pursuit of happiness and it is up to us as individuals to go out and pursue that happiness and make what we desire out of
our lives.
However most people nowadays would much rather have a false guarantee of happiness that's presented to them by the government, and give up their
liberties for that false sense of happiness than to actually make the sacrifices and put forth the hard work to attain that happiness.
So many people live within unhappy circumstances and yet will not take the initiative to change their situation because they are conditioned to a life
of security, conformity, and conservatism, all of which may appear to give one peace of mind, but in reality nothing is more damaging to the
adventurous spirit within a man than a secure future.
The irony in it all, and TPTB are well aware of this, is that the more they depend upon the government for that sense of happiness and security the
less of either they will ever attain. It's a double edged sword and no mater which side of that sword you try to walk through life on it will
eventually castrate the human spirit that thrives to be free.
