You are quoting the Protestant ten commandments.
(the ones rearranged by Martin Luther)
Colbe claims to be Catholic, so I quoted the Catholic ones to him/her.
The PURPOSE of posting them was to show ... THOU SHALT NOT LIE.
Both the protestant and catholic 10 commandments have that.
1. I, the Lord, am your God. You shall not have other gods besides me.
2. You shall not take the name of the Lord God in vain
3. Remember to keep holy the Lord's Day
4. Honor your father and your mother
5. You shall not kill
6. You shall not commit adultery
7. You shall not steal
8. You shall not bear false witness
9. You shall not covet your neighbor's wife
10. You shall not covet your neighbor's goods
In the Protestant Churches, they are as follows, with the differences highlighted:
1. You shall have no other gods but me.
2. You shall not make unto you any graven images
3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain
4. You shall remember the Sabbath and keep it holy
5. Honor your mother and father
6. You shall not murder
7. You shall not commit adultery
8. You shall not steal
9. You shall not bear false witness
10. You shall not covet anything that belongs to your neighbor
The differences are that the protestant churches forbid any graven images, the word “kill” is replaced by the word “murder”, and they lump all covetous things together, while the Catholic Church specifically adds the prohibition of coveting your neighbor’s wife. Why the differences? The 10 Commandments come to us from Exodus 20:2-17, which reads as follows:
ABOARD THE PAPAL AIRPLANE (CNN) –Pope Francis said Monday that he will not "judge" gays and lesbians - including gay priests - signaling a shift from his predecessor and offering another sign that the new pope is committed to changing the church's approach to historically marginalized groups.
“If someone is gay and he searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?” Francis said in a wide-ranging news conference aboard the papal plane.
Though answering a question about the so-called "gay lobby" at the Vatican, the pope's remarks seemed to signal a change in tone, if not in teaching, in the church's stance towards gays and lesbians more generally.
According to recent gay bullying statistics, gay and lesbian teens are two to three times as more likely to commit teen suicide than other youths. About 30 percent of all completed suicides have been related to sexual identity crisis. Students who also fall into the gay, bisexual, lesbian or transgendered identity groups report being five times as more likely to miss school because they feel unsafe after being bullied due to their sexual orientation. About 28 percent out of those groups feel forced to drop out of school altogether. Although more and more schools are working to crack down on problems with bullying, teens are still continuing to bully each other due to sexual orientation and other factors.
In a 2005 survey about gay bullying statistics, teens reported that the number two reason they are bullied is because of their actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender expression. The number one reason reported was because of appearance. Teens are at a pivotal point in their young adult lives when they are trying to find out who they are and who they are about to become as adults. This is why being teased, bullied and harassed is something that could negatively affect a person's self-esteem and view of themselves for the rest of their life.
There are several ways that bullying can take place including verbal, physical, cyberbullying and indirect bullying.
People who judge and criticize others are hypocrites and cowards who are unable to face their own defects, Pope Francis said.
Gossip, too, is "criminal" as it destroys, rather than exalts the image of God present in others, he said in his early morning homily Sept. 13 at his residence of Domus Sanctae Marthae.
"Those who live judging their neighbors, speaking badly of them, are hypocrites because they don't have the strength, the courage to look at their own defects," he said.
"Why do you notice the splinter in your brother's eye, but do not perceive the wooden beam in your own," he said, referring to the day's Gospel reading according to St. Luke

VERBAL BULLYING. CYBERBULLYING. That's what this thread (and others) are full of.
Posting FAKE messages from heaven. So that's telling lies.
Screaming that homosexuals are hell bound when no one is supposed to judge souls.
Using slurs in regards to homosexuals ... sneering 'sodomites' and 'deviants' .....
I'm wondering how many homosexual people are pushed to suicide because of garbage like
we've seen here. The fruit of a fake apparition ... lies, name calling, and maybe even death.

Good post brother...
Just wanted to point out, that quote says... Don't worry about the sliver in your brothers eye, when you got a beam in your own (paraphrased)... but you are correct...
Though im not sure about there being no such thing as sin...
Personally I believe harming another is a sin, be a verbally or physically...

Matthew 7:21-23
New International Version (NIV)
True and False Disciples
21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but only the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ 23 Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!’
