Hypocrisis

In 2009, the European Union funded a research program, to develop "computer programmes which act as "agents" to monitor and process information from web sites, discussion forums, file servers, peer-to-peer networks and even individual computers."

As NSA and UK GQCH are publicly shown to engage in the very use of such technologies, all over EU, apart from UK obviously, officials cry for privacy, citizens rights for privacy, and all sorts. But, as this goes on, the very same politicians, and bureaucrats fund various research programs to develop the very technology, and most surely today to improve those technologies even further.

I am really depressed to see, the whole western world flushing down any concept of freedom and citizen's rights, in the wake of "terrorism" - and anything associable today with that word. All that defines western democracies has been taken away, and replaced by Orwellian agencies and governments, in a scale Mr Orwell never could even have imagined.

We do indeed need a new world order, but not the New World Order which Herbert B started at one point of time. We need a revolution in the very principles of democratic societies, and jurisdiction which controls the controllers. I want the free world back!!
