I like you OP. I wish you the best of luck! It sounds silly but I really believe in positive thinking and imagining yourself kicking ass in the interview. Start thinking about all the times you've been awesome, walk in with that confidence and you got it!

It doesn't hurt to show a little skin too.

In my family we used to say "Squish 'em like a grape!" before any big event. So squish 'em like a grape!

I hope it comes through for you!!! I was hoping I would see a yes or no by the time I finished the thread, but had no luck. I hope for better luck tomorrow!!

I have resisted posting on this thread but I can't anymore! What happened? Did you get it? If not then it was not meant to be and something else your way will come! Positive thinking does work even if all it does is make your shoulders broader, first impressions and all that!

Well I just got the phone call and I did not get the job...

BUT the lady said I was a very close second choice and as soon as another position opens up I will get that position no interview neede they will just ring me up and tell me my start date.
They have 7 homes in the area so I don't think it will take to long

Sorry to hear that BM but it may be a blessing in disguise! Maybe the next position that comes up will be more suited to you or have better benefits/remuneration! Onward and upward! Will be holding thumbs for you!

Its weird as over the years I have noticed a pattern.

If I think I "aced" an interview I generally don't get it. If I think I did crappy I generally get the job.

I have been in your position and it sucks, but at least it wasn't a total bust. Keep your chin up and keep applying!
