An explosion of child pornography on the Internet is fuelling global child abuse including the sale of minors into prostitution and the porn industry,
the United Nations warned today.
The Internet has sparked enormous growth in child exploitation including through prostitution, pornography, sex tourism and trafficking, and by
paedophiles using it to stalk children, said Gopalan Balagopal a senior adviser with the UN's children fund UNICEF.
"The problem is growing in several parts of the world such as Asia where the number of people using the Internet is rapidly increasing," Mr
Balagopal told AFP at the start of a three-day international meeting in Bangkok on child trafficking, prostitution and pornography.
"Over the last few years we have already seen child pornography on the Internet and the abuse which results become enormous problems in countries
such as the United States and Russia," he said.

and how these scum were busted in Australia
quote:
HUNDREDS of alleged Australian pedophiles were tracked by police through the electronic trail left by credit cards used to pay for child pornography
on the internet.
Yesterday, police described the credit card details as the key that unlocked the door to the secret world of child pornography collectors, who wrongly
believed their activities were safe from prying eyes.
