Judicial Watch: FOIA release shows CFPB conducting “warrantless surveillance” on consumers

Get ready for another front on the debate over privacy, consumption, and the trade-off between them. Yesterday, Judicial Watch announced that they had received data through a FOIA demand that showed warrantless surveillance on 5 million American consumers — not for national-security reasons, but for the new Consumer Financial Protection Board.

The CFPB was created by guess who?

Yeah, it's too bad they just used 2 wars to steal everybody's money... the amount of tax dollars this cost could have funded Canadian style healthcare for 2 generations. That is the model people think of when they consider universal health coverage. (So, I'm not blaming Bush, his handlers are to blame) We shall see if big brother will refuse oxygen to the smokers. That isn't the way the system operates in every other country that has Universal Healthcare. If you are ever wondering, you should ask a Canadian, European, or even a Cuban what they think of Universal Health coverage. I doubt you can find one that doesn't say it's great to have.
