Clinton had plan and held mock exercise to drop nuke in North Korea.

www.washtimes.com
Newly declassified documents revealed the United States planned as recently as 1998 to drop nuclear bombs on North Korea if the country attacked South Korea.

..................

The declassified documents also said the U.S. had kept nuclear weaponry in South Korea until at least 1998, despite officially claiming it had withdrawn all nuclear warheads in 1991.

Clinton lied I guess. Liberals please explain...

Now why can leaders be such idiots...

Besides, this is no real news. It's been understood for a long time that we have no conventional capability to prevent NK from sweeping down the peninsula. The only realistic deterrent is nuclear.

.......

As far as Clinton lying about the warheads being removed in 1991, perhaps he was just covering up for George HW Bush who promised to remove all nuclear warheads from Korea.

EDIT: I'll admit Clinton did have the opportunity to remove them during his time in office but perhaps things had gotten tense with NK so he put it off.
