That kills a conspiracy theory.

There is a theory floating around that sporting matches are rigged in order to “lift the spirit of the people” after a tragedy.

Ive read about "The Patriots" winning the superbowl, that new Orleans were allowed to also have some time shortly after Katrina. There's also a few others that dont spring to mind right now.

But the reason I mention that now is that yes there was talk that the Stanley Cup would be rigged to give Boston a spirit lifting gift after the bombings.

That was a bizarre game. Lot's of fun to watch. I certainly didn't think they would win it in regulation. Maybe in OT but who expects two goals at the end of the game in 17 seconds?

The conspiracy theory is one I ain't buying. If there was the the Damn Yankees would have won it on 2001. If ever there was a time for that to happen that was it and it didn't.

I will be at the Rally this Friday!, I went to the Rally last time they won and it was insane.

We were pulling for Chicago. Lots of former Flyers on the team.
It was a good match up. Excellent game series.

It was an excellent series. The better team won, but both Boston and Chicago have done well to remain top teams in the league over the past 4-5 years.
