youtu.be...

I filmed this last year and would be interested if anyone could explain what the object floating in the sky is. I assumed it was a refraction of the moon, as i couldn't see it from outside, and what was captured on film was only visible when looked at through the _

However a brief google search hasn't thrown up what i would have thought would have been a fairly regular topic, if it was just a distortion of the moon's light. As i said, i'd be very interested in hearing your thoughts.

Kind regards,

I have precisely no idea what so ever. I have never seen anything like that before, aside from, as the previous poster pointed out, its similarity in appearance to a jellyfish. Since jellyfish are not known for thier aerobatics, I am going to have to say pass on this one.

Filmed through a window, how about a picture in daylight or a video in daylight of the same window!

I think the clue is in the title here folks...

'Can anyone shed some light'? Oh yes...i can shed some light.

It's an outside porch light, probably a dim solar LED type of outside light, filmed through a 'bubbly' bathroom window that is distorting it's light and shape.

Wouldn't be surprised if it's actually a 'shed' light either.

Am i close OP?

It was filmed from the second floor with no shed's near by, nor pitch lights. I've only posted on the off chance if anyone in this community knew if something like this could be created by a light distortion of the moon as I've not been able to find anything and am a bit of a rookey.

For me it's unexplained and I just wondered if any one did have a possible explanation.

Thanks for your help,

The clip is pretty short mate, its hard to tell what it is as there's no real perspective to the video. Why did you stop filming so soon? Just a fleeting moment.

How can you prove that you filmed the video? Jellyfish.

Whatever that light is from 1-2 seconds in the video (what is that?), my guess would be the light seen later in the video might be a refraction of that.

really? i mean come on,
you couldnt see it when you were outside
and it was only visible when looked at through the _
so its obviously a reflection, and im pretty sure you know this.
people like you give ufology a bad name and its why some people dont take it seriously
you know exactly what this is

Looks to be a kite from the London Youth Council group stationed near by, they often do kite flying events for the kids.
