Hostility:

HOSTILITY. A state of open enmity; open war. Wolff, Dr. de la Rat. Sec. 1191. Hostility, as it regards individuals, may be permanent or temporary; it is permanent when the individual is a citizen or subject of the government at war, and temporary when he happens to be domiciliated or resident in the country of one of the belligerents; in this latter case the individual may throw off the national character he has thus acquired by residence, when he puts himself in motion, bona fide, to quit the country sine animo revertendi. 3 Rob. Adm. Rep. 12; 3 Wheat. R. 14.

2. There may be a hostile character merely as to commercial purposes, and hostility may attach only to the person as a temporary enemy, or it may attach only to the property of a particular description. This hostile character in a commercial view, or one limited to certain intents and purposes only, will attach in, consequence of having possessions in the territory of the enemy, or by maintaining a commercial establishment there, or by a personal residence, or, by particular modes of traffic, as by sailing under the enemy's flag of passport. 9 Cranch, 191 5 Rob. Adm. Rep. 21, 161; 1 Kent Com. 73; Wesk. on Ins. h.t.; Chit. Law of Nat. Index, h.t.

The government uses the rule of law, therefore the legal definition, not the subjective definition of Hostile would be used.

Guess you missed that qualifier "now or once hostile to the United States" but hey don't let the facts interfere with sensationalism.

2nd line is for:

Define "hostile"

You can't, that's the problem.

I cannot believe that even after the revelations of what the NSA has been doing there are still people willing and happy to just "trust" them and bend over.

It's been proven that people lied under oath, that your own president lied on camera, that the NSA has been in breach of the constitution, that committees have been lied to or kept out of the loop, that politicians didn't even know the extent of it, and that your president feels the need to block investigation into the legality and constitutionality of all of this...

You should not call yourself an American, if you even are. You would be more suited to a dictatorship somewhere.

And right there, that is the most frightening thing anyone has ever said.

Well, people wanted to feel safe and secure in their living rooms, eating that Big Mac and tuning into the latest American Idol. So much that they are willing to give up their rights, freedoms liberties...all because everyone knows that if you aren't doing anything wrong, don't worry.

No Biggie, right?

How's it going so far?

Peace

The problem as I see it is the Government can create these things without We The People being able to have our say. They have made the system untouchable to the common man. We can't collectively take a vote on these issues. The oversight committees ( if any) are appointed by the administration and are corrupt. It's all about the marriage by government and the elite corporations, their money their lobbyists to create the future they want. We The People have been replaced by We The Corporations because they offer the Government the things We the People will not give it.

And sometimes 2 or more that work together.

Fortunately, they are becoming very easy to spot.

They have a script.....we don't.

The government uses the rule of law, therefore the legal definition, not the subjective definition of Hostile would be used.

blacks law dictionary 5th edition:

"Hostile: Having the character of an enemy; standing in the relation of an enemy. Feeling or displaying enmity or antagonism"

under the wording of this new act, one could be considered hostile if they dislike ANYTHING the government does. violation of the 4th amendment because of personal feelings. yup, nothing ambiguous or sinister in the wording at all

there was a time (for over 50 years if i remember correctly) at the end of the 1800's and beginning of the 1900's in which anything even remotely sexual that was transmitted through the mail was confiscated for being a threat to the general public.

this included information pertaining to birth control, sexual practices (during marriage), and anything related to a penis or vagina in general, this act seems to be nothing more than a continuation of that ignorance.

Obama and his regime are marxist leninists.

This does not surprise me.
