Yup, Here is hoping for a good summer days to follow....

The weather has been crap for this year, my mom is complaining her vege garden in the backyard is a big fail this year,, small fruits/veges, sour tasting fruits, some plants didn't even survive this alternating weather this past 2 months. Only thing that is growing is the red peppers.

Anyway, how has your activities been? any activities soon? flying somewhere warmers?

Toronto, Canada, Good weather forecast so far.

I am starting my Summer with a Fishing trip with group of friends!

What about you? ATS all day?

Congratulations and Welcome to Summer Solstice 2013.

I haven't really done much yet this year, but I am going to the Newport Aquarium in Kentucky in a couple of weeks. I always look forward to that every year. As far as going Out, I wanted to take the time and go camping for a week before the end of summer.

It's all down hill from here, TO THE END..... of the year that is

I hope we do get a decent year of weather in the end but it doesn't look promising

My fruit and veg had to be started much later this year than I anticipated but they are getting somewhere now thankfully.

I plan on having BBQ's and lots of garden parties
No scones and tea for me...
Well I hope so anyways, weather permitting and all
I'd love to do a bit camping too but it's catching a good week to go when everyone is free'd up.

Anyways enjoy your fishing trip... eh?

Here is hoping the lakes stay un-frozen for you in your wintery (but kind) hell hole

Ahh don't worry... the good weather is on it's way to you now slowly but truely
and the southern hemisphere really does make us who live too far north in our hemisphere really jealous.

Wanna swap?

And there's hockey still being played. That has to violate some law in physics.

And I already can't wait for autumn. I want (American) football season, the county fair, the leaves to change, the chilly weather, and HALLOWEEN! I love barbecues and thunderstorms...but I prefer BBQs and thinderstorms in the fall, LOL.

But yay for the summer solstice! That just means we're one step closer to the autumnal equinox!

lol sucks dude.

Anytime i think of Europe, its always accompanied rain and gloomy in my head.

Probably because the one day i was in London, it was rainy and misty and all buildings were wet...that image from 15yrs ago is still in my head.

Haha, pretty stereotypic image of London for most people who have only been there once or twice... BUT what you have to remember is that the people who live there have EXTREMELY warm hearts!

Generally here in Western Europe we have fairly good Springs and good Summers... BUT... this year is totally bonkers!... saying that, i was in Barcelone a week ago and we had 30° in the shade! (i was wearing a suit and tie for a week in a crowded congress center without air conditioning and was relishing the thought of cold weather!)

Kindest respects

Rodinus

Today I have been painting my bathroom a little bit more. Started it yesterday, got the sealing coat done, and today I did the first coat of the undiluted paint on the ceiling, and tomorrow I will do the walls first proper coat as well.

I will be continuing this effort until the task is done, because I really, REALLY want to use the shower. The humidity here is kicking my butt this week, and it would be nice to stand under some powered water.
