Since it is high in Calcium, the arcsenic and mercury could be bound meaning that they would not be readily absorbed through the skin. Molybdenum, a chealator, along with some other metals would give it the colors I see. Cinabar is a similar color, that is why I mentioned mercury.

The colors you see Reds and Greens are living organisms on the surface of the calcium deposits.

They are all natural too

That is amazing with All those vibrant colors. *bows head*

The best part is, all of nature is beautiful in its own way.
From the tiniest little organisms that create such a wonderful array of color to the flash of a supernova from a dying red giant.

That's so awesome, even coming from a land where we have plenty of natural geysers (NZ) that one is really beautiful.

It just goes to show that mankind's little accidents are not always a huge negative.

How very cool! Now that is one lucky guy to have such an accident of man and nature come together to form that on his land. It'd be great to be able to drive out and just watch some times while the sun sets. I'll bet it makes a lot of noise, as well. Soothing, given the surroundings and sheer beauty of it.

One of the types of threads to make all the lesser ones worth sorting through, I must say!

I find it amazing how earth creates calcium deposits and so does the human body.

That was awesome. Really. Like it inspires awe in a person...

I was showing it to my sister and came across a youtube video of it. nice to hear the sound of the water splashing and see it squirting water out of its many orifices...
