What I would like to know is why this British invention, created by a British guy named Martin Grix, seems to be marketed at 'idiot' Americans. What's the matter? Aren't there enough 'idiot', thumbless Chavs in Britain that have forgotten how to fold paper and use tape?

Well there's me, my dad, and most of my friends

Oh and of course mum it's not much but it's a damn good start

I'm ok at wrapping presents, but I HATE it. My mother hates it too so she always trys to pawn off her present wrapping onto me. I no longer fall for that. It just seems so ridiculously pointless you know? "Here, I bought you a gift so now I'm going to waste more resources to wrap it in fancy paper so you can't see it."

But, I suppose on the list of offensive, wasteful, idiot things humans do this is relatively far down the list.

I love wrapping gifts. I use toilet paper and duct tape sometimes.

My husband wraps my gifts in newspaper and fluorescent orange duct tape. Requires a lot of cutting to open those gifts...he thinks it's hilarious.

Men.

Dearie, all mums have eyes in the back of their heads and some degree of psychic ability. Remember the time that I caught you....well, never mind. I don't want to embarrass you in front of your friends.

That reminds of my dad
One Christmas he wrapped about a dozen boxes inside each other, complete with all the annoying packaging materials that make a mess.

When mum eventually found the ring box she was elated, only to find it empty
Mum was

Dad knew better than to let that one lie and pulled a gorgeous ring out of his pocket, looking sheepish, he'd genuinely forgotten to put it back in box.

Real men just cover gifts in Epoxy and then roll them in wood shavings, broken teeth and roadkill

ETA: My back step offers similar opportunities, though it's flint and glass shards, wood shavings and sinew - i like my teeth and dont kill critters, i just rip their tendons out and make stuff with them.

The clear bit allows my kid access to the garden
