What is that "the christian god"?

So, HA HA HA, there are people around here, who claim being "christians" and having a "christian god".

The bible as well as the Qu'ran both say there is only one god, mainly God.

Considering that the Bible teaches that Jesus is God, it's not the same as the Qu'ran because it teaches that Jesus was just a man and a prophet who is not God, so how can it be the same God?

They are refering to different deities.

'God' as in 'God most high' - is beyond any Christian or Muslim comprehension.

Deities have come and gone - and they will continue to do so.

You do realize that there were many false gods in the Bible that different people worshiped?

Not only is religion a sad story in itself, but it gets more so when someone mocking one doesn't understand it.

The Christian God is a God that led His people, the Jews, to establish their own kingdom, before the Jews continuously kept disrespecting and rejecting God. The final nail in the coffin was the Jews' rejection of the Son of God, our Lord and Savior, who took the form of a man to face humiliation and execution, dying as the propitiation for our sins. He will return, establishing His Kingdom on Earth. God will subsequently judge those who rejected Him.

The Islamic Allah is a God of deception. Allah frequently lies, contradicts himself, makes irrational statements. Allah came to deliver a message through Gabriel to Muhammed, who preached this revelation and offered peace to Jews, Christians, and pagans alike until Muhammed had a large enough following to take up arms and mercilessly kill anyone who didn't submit to him. Allah didn't send a son to Earth to die as a propitiation, and Islam only views Jesus as a prophet. The Muslims also have an End Times concept. The Mahdi (their redeemer) will come down, gather up the armies of Islam, and literally rape, torture, and kill anybody and everybody. Their version of Jesus will come, submit to the Mahdi, find "lost scriptures" in the Sea of Galilee which will somehow prove that the Jews and Christians were wrong the whole time.

I fail to see how the Christian God and Islamic Allah are anything alike.

Christ offers redemption. That is to say, every single one of us are sinners who deserve to burn in Hell for a long, long time. We're corrupt, evil, depraved, enslaved by greed, lust, and hate. If we were brought into a court of law, we'd be found guilty in a heartbeat for our evil thoughts, words, and actions. We're all fallen, and God wouldn't be unjust for punishing any of us. But the atonement of Christ's blood is the shelter of God's wrath upon us. Christ is by His Father in Heaven, interceding for His flock, which is why Christ wants us to peacefully, lovingly, longsufferingly, and fearfully bring others into His flock.

Muslims, on the other hand, want to make world war and kill anyone who doesn't give into Islam. There is no concept of salvation in Islam. There is no redemption. In fact, there's no real way of knowing whether you'll even get into Paradise or be sent to Hell. You just have to do what the Quran tells you without any question, otherwise you'll get your head lobbed off.

Christ came in love and suffering, Muhammed came in war and destruction.

That's because 'missionairies' went there trying to 'convert' them from their belief (do you figure??), these missionairies insisted (do you still figure??) Let us take as example "FollowTheWhiteRabbit, if you do not let go of your family (you need and love so much) because we will Kill you otherwise. That being your choice, would you kill the ones insisting?

If Christ is your way, no problem, but remember, Christ must be the way.. to God. When God is not your goal, prepare for death.

You do realize that Christianity, Judaism, and paganism were already well established in that area at the time. All Islam did was start going into cities and massacring peaceful people who didn't convert to Islam.

And what? You're justifying killing missionaries?

See, Christians don't have to kill people trying to convert them. Muslims don't play well with other religions, however.

Jesus was a Jew, along with the Apostles including Paul.
Jesus saw the Jewish scriptures as applying to himself, at least those that spoke of a better state of the world brought about by people having a better connection with God (something brought about by himself).
Jesus did not believe that those scriptures did completely capture the spirit of the true God, even if certain truths about humanity and how they should live could be carefully extracted from them. Jesus had a sense of how to do that exactly and thereby validated those parts as being authoritative but did not lend credence to the idea that anyone was better than everyone else by simply believing in the authority of the scripture. People had to carry those things out that applied to how you treated your fellow man, and to be like God Himself by judging all people as having the same intrinsic value as yourself. Saying that you believe in the God of that book is not a step to being superior to other people, where your life has more value, and people "beneath" you (by not believing in that same so-called god) are then worthless.

The final nail in the coffin was the Jews' rejection of the Son of God, our Lord and Savior, who took the form of a man to face humiliation and execution, dying as the propitiation for our sins.

That putts the nail in the coffin of the idea that a person can gain righteousness by following man made rules, even if they seem "religious".

He will return, establishing His Kingdom on Earth. God will subsequently judge those who rejected Him.

I believe that the only "return" that Jesus spoke of, and that should have been expected, was the Parousia, the "visitation" which was the judgment against that very thing spoken of here, which resulted in the destruction of the Jerusalem temple which was the basis of that system.
