This is recent terror chatter.

The posters express that they aren't sure who is going to be carrying out this attack, but they have heard that an attack will be carried out in the last days of Ramadan. (Tracking Terrorism). Additional message traffic evaluated by TM has jihadi’s being told to avoid internet cafe’s, only contacting each other on SH (secure host) sites. Potenially cryptic references were made regarding Texas and the targeting of petro-chemical sites. Additional responses suggested a strike on one of the ‘odd’ days in the end or Ramadan, Nov 9 (11/9.......9/11). (FreeRepublic Threat Matrix)


Other internet sources are reporting Jihadi traffic suggesting that AQ will launch a biochemical attack in the heart of Times Square, targeting MTV studios, and highly populated areas such as The Mall of America. Attack is said to happen 11 days after election day if Bush is reelected to correspond with September 11th. The number 11th corresponds with Al-Qaeda's plans to launch a biochemical attack.

I don't personally put much faith in a Bio attack on NY but it does seem like they're tightening security for something.

I doubt Al-Queda has bio weapons to use.

I've read those "chatter sites" through an arabic translator program just the people at TT are doing, there is a wealth of material that threatens everything from Greenpeace to King Al-Saud.

Don't put faith in the chatter, theres A LOT of the chatter that is read and you have no way of telling if they're the real deal or 12yr old kids in Damascus getting their rocks off by threatening the infidels.

Hey - the US is already under biological attack and has been since Bush first became President. Several diseases are epidemic in the US right now - all incurable, basically untreatable and resulting from new microbial mutations. Bush chose to ignore the warnings and now it's all out of control. I flagged his back up position last year - he intends to blame bioterrorists when the epidemics can't be covered up anymore.

I just dont buy that term. If we have the technology to know what they are going to do, then why cant we just destroy these communication networks and prevent them from organizing?

Another Terrorist attack in the west will be the end of the Islam in the west.

I can see it now american's mosque's burned down, muslims being beaten in streets, american's call for the deporation of muslims and banning Islam.

Then europe will folllow with the same pattern.

evecasino, I'm glad you posted the info. What can it hurt for people to just be aware of the chatter? People shouldn't freak out and start putting duct tape on their windows, but I think most people on ATS can handle hearing what the chatter is. I'm sick of hearing 'we see an increase in chatter' but never getting details. I appreciate you giving some details.

They´ve already hit New York. My guess is that the next big attack will be on the west coast. But what do I know...? An attack on the west coast would freak out the people in New York too, thinking they´d be next (again). Twice the effect.

There are two very important events taking place, with
Arafat and Musharraf right now.

Just an idea here, but what if they are just threats? The possibility does exist and we were not attacked before the election, that could very well mean they couldnt do one.

This "chatter" is a useful distraction away from the corruption in the 2004 election and what has lent appearance to Bush having a mandate to continue with foreign incursions.

There have been dozens and dozens of rumours about terrorist strikes from the north, from the south, terrorist cells planning attacks in suburban shopping malls, in casinos, in subways, in theme parks, at ball games...

It was a sport for a while last year and into this year for people to analyze them in considerable depth, with all the numerological and psychic strength they could muster.

Meanwhile, the apparently "elected" Bush administration will continue to strip you of your civil rights a little more each day, while you are distracted. If people devoted a little more energy to appreciation of their civil liberties, their democratic rights, the requirement for an admninistration to be accountable for its lies, and the due process by which a "president" and his administration can be removed, there could be more focus less distraction.

My guess is there will be no terrorist attack without the express approval of the Bush administration.

Well seeing how many are starting to protest this stolen election I would imagine that we will have a terror attack just so the Bush admin can wag the dog away from these protest.
This of course if it becomes a big issue which I think it will.

I think that you got the possible dates right 11-9 or 11-11 ... and i can see something that happens at malls accross the country on black friday.

I think they will go for The White House as 1 of there targets because they tried to get the white house last time and failed. They tried to blow up the WTC once before too, once they made up there mind on a target I don't think they'll change their mind.

I also think that Florida (Red State) could be hit...maybe Tampa area or Orlando.

I think that Texas could get hit ... major cities in Texas include San Antonio, Dallas, El Paso, Arlington, Houston, ... lots of targets.

I don't think the terrorists will hit NY unless its the stock market to bankrupt the country.

Black Winds of Death, I have no idea what that is...and i really hope it doesn't involve the Yellowstone Super Volcano.

Bin Laden cannot be denied his due whatever his affiliation, for he knows his goal, and his goal will be achieved.

How better to achieve what he wants by seeing Americans become the same subjugated and controlled masses this president purports to be against in the Middle East? The more he incites fear, the more you will be willing to succumb to control. Is that not what Bush tells you Islam is about?

One massive casualty list and Patriot Act II passes with ease.

Why destroy them when you can monitor them and use them to identify enemy assets and plans?
